– 2010 Triumph Bonneville
2010 Triumph Bonneville
The most famous name in motorcycling. A legend. An evolution.
With the latest Triumph Bonneville you’re riding over 50 years of engineering excellence. A thoroughly modern interpretation of the definitive ‘proper’ motorcycle, this iconic symbol of rebellion and independence is even more accessible thanks to its low and narrow seat, clean and efficient fuel-injected engine and lightweight 17” alloy wheels for even sharper handling.
The engine is bang up to date too. An air-cooled parallel-twin as only a Bonneville can be, the 865cc unit employs modern fuel injection technology for clean running and excellent economy, with that sound and feel that only a Triumph delivers.
With its cast wheels, short mudguards and simple black or white colour schemes, the look is pure 70s. Modern engineering with a classic style. The Bonneville delivers a pure and unadulterated experience for riders of all ages.
Features and Benefits
Engine
The Bonneville features a fuel injection system designed for clean running and to meet Euro 3 legislation. The retro styling remains uncompromised though, as the fuel injectors are cleverly concealed by throttle bodies designed to look like traditional carbs. Polished alloy side covers come as standard on the new Bonneville.
Wheels
The Bonneville sports stylish lightweight 17” cast alloy wheels, creating an all new look and improving the bike’s agility and low speed handling characteristics.
Exhaust System
Stylish megaphone exhausts mimic those sported by the raciest bikes in the 1970s.
Brakes
The braking set-up of single front 310mm disc and 255mm rear, both worked on by powerful twin-piston calipers, offers sensitivity, control and ample stopping power.
Seat
The 2010 Bonneville’s comfortable seat is 35mm/1.3in lower than on previous models. Combined with a revised riding position, the latest Bonneville provides a more relaxed and accessible ride than ever before.
Chassis
The Bonneville’s low seat height (740mm/29.1inches) and low centre of gravity make it a manageable motorcycle that all riders – ranging from those with little experience to those with lots – can appreciate. The tubular steel double cradle frame is incredibly strong while offering light and precise handling
