From the Manufacturer – 2027 Ducati Motorcycle Guide:
Ten contemporary icons celebrate 100 years of Ducati history
- Ten significant moments in Ducati’s history have inspired ten unique motorcycles, produced in a numbered series limited to just one hundred units each
- Technology, design, art: each motorcycle features unique components which, together with its livery, make it a one-of-a-kind icon, accompanied by two numbered works of art
- Owners of each model will be able to complete the “Collezione 100” experience with a capsule collection comprising a helmet and jacket in the same livery as the motorcycle
- The liveries of the Collezione 100, united in a single work of art, will race at the Mugello Grand Prix on the fairings of the Ducati Lenovo team’s DesmosediciGP bikes
Scarperia (Florence, Italy) – The Mugello circuit, where the Desmosedici MotoGP bikes have written numerous unforgettable pages in Ducati’s racing history, is the setting for the presentation of the Collezione 100. Ten liveries, ten numbered editions, all strictly limited to just 100 units each. True contemporary icons created to mark the centenary of the Borgo Panigale-based manufacturer.
Each model is made unique by its special specification, a livery inspired by an iconic Ducati motorcycle from the brand’s history, an Alcantara or leather seat featuring an embroidered Ducati 100 logo, and the Bronzo Centenario colour. This colour will be used exclusively for this collection on details such as the brake calipers, the nameplate with the model number riveted to the billet steering head or brackets and fuel cap ring. A detail that makes the 100 Collection truly one-of-a-kind, a colour whose uniqueness expresses Ducati’s pride in an unmistakable identity, forged in the moments that have carved its name into a history spanning a hundred years.
Each motorcycle comes with a dedicated rear stand, a motorcycle cover, a certificate of authenticity and a pair of numbered art prints signed by one of the great figures of late 20th-century Italian art, Ugo Nespolo. Nespolo has interpreted, in his unmistakable colourful and dynamic style, every model in the 100 Collection and the historic motorcycle that inspired its livery. The V4 models, given their prestige, will be delivered in an exclusive, customised wooden case. And of course, as with all Ducati collector’s bikes, the experience of getting on the bike will be made even more special by a dedicated start-up ceremony.
The result is a collection of true gems: unique, unmistakable and of great value. Models that celebrate Ducati’s 100 years of uninterrupted history through the technology and design of the technical solutions that make them one-of-a-kind, and the style of the liveries that evoke the most significant moments in the history of the Borgo Panigale-based manufacturer.
The evocative presentation took place on the legendary straight of the Tuscan circuit, where the bikes were unveiled alongside the capsule collection—comprising a helmet and jacket—and the works of Ugo Nespolo. The ten motorcycles were flanked by the two DesmosediciGP bikes of the Lenovo team, which will race on Sunday adorned with a livery that draws on those of the Collezione 100, uniting them in a single work of art.
Ducati partners Carrera and Piquadro have created a range of eyewear and luggage inspired by the Collezione 100 for the occasion, which were also presented during the event.
The first opportunity for the public to see the Collezione 100 in person will be at World Ducati Week, where they can be admired on a stage reserved for all Ducatisti on 3, 4 and 5 July. Subsequently, the ten motorcycles will embark on a journey that will take them to the Goodwood Festival of Speed, a world-class event and a must-see for car and motorbike enthusiasts. Finally, the Collezione 100 will return to Bologna, where it will be proudly displayed in various museums across the region.
