Dual-stage fuel injection
Dual injectors in each cylinder ensure exceptional low and high rpm capabilities, while refined EFI settings enhance throttle response, especially at smaller openings, for a smooth but still exhilarating ride.
Dual-stage ram air
This ingenious design provides a generous flow of cool air directly into the airbox, resulting in increased power and exceptionally smooth performance throughout the rpm range.
Honda Multi-Action System inverted fork
The HMAS cartridge fork features small-diameter pistons designed to maintain high oil velocity. This improves damping characteristics for increased feedback and added control while also providing a wider range of adjustability.
Unit Pro-Link® suspension
Derived from our MotoGP championship-winning bikes, the Unit Pro-Link® rear suspension eliminates the frame-mounted top shock mount, isolating the chassis from the bumps to provide more precise handling and improved traction.
12-spoke wheels
With their consistent rigidity and balance, these sharp-looking 12-spoke cast aluminum wheels work with the HMAS fork Pro-Link® shock and enhance suspension feedback to deliver real handling improvements.
Radial-mounted front brake calipers
The radial-mounted monoblock front-brake calipers each feature four chromium-plated aluminum pistons and a stiff construction that provides better feel and more powerful stopping performance.
Electronic Combined Anti-Lock Braking System (C-ABS)
Available on the CBR600RR ABS model, experience confident braking in any condition with our Combined Anti-Lock Braking System (C-ABS). This advanced system distributes brake force to both wheels, intelligently applying the front or rear brake independently when necessary for maximum stopping power.
Centrally located fuel tank
Strategically positioned as close to the middle and as low in the frame as possible, the 4.8-gallon fuel tank optimizes mass centralization, enhancing the bike’s responsiveness to rider input.
Line-beam headlights
Line-beam headlights have a two-piece reflector design with two H7 bulbs, which provides optimal light distribution from a compact design, improving visibility for the rider and other traffic.
Honda Electronic Steering Damper (HESD)
Our Honda Electronic Steering Damper (HESD) goes beyond typical steering dampers. Sensing handlebar deflection speed and vehicle speed to adjust dynamically, the HESD ensures exceptional low-speed maneuverability while maintaining excellent high-speed stability.
2026 Honda CBR600RR ABS Totalmotorcycle.com Features and Benefits
ENGINE / DRIVETRAIN
- The liquid-cooled, inline-four-cylinder power plant features bore-and-stroke measurements of 67.0mm x 42.5mm, for a displacement of 599cc. Compression ratio is 12.2:1.
- Programmed Dual Stage Fuel Injection (PGM-DSFI), with 40mm throttle bodies and Denso 12-hole injectors.
- Centrally located ram-air intake system delivers midrange power and good throttle response in the high-rpm range.
CHASSIS / SUSPENSION
- The 41mm Showa Big Piston Fork (BPF) features a large damper piston that generates damping forces at low internal pressures to allow for smooth, responsive fork action. Adjustable for spring preload plus compression and rebound damping.
- Unit Pro-Link® rear suspension.
- Using knowledge gained from the Honda RC212V MotoGP race program, the aerodynamic design allows minimal drag. In turn, the development and testing used with this CBR600RR bodywork led to aerodynamic advancements that were incorporated into the RC213V.
- This aerodynamic efficiency lends itself to agile handling and good wind deflection for maximum rider comfort.
- Honda Electronic Steering Damper (HESD) for controlled handling.
