Honda Updates Lineup for 2025 Model Year
- RoadSync now standard on all Rebel 1100 versions New premium-level Rebel 1100 DCT SE now offered
- Announcement includes seven other two-wheel products
American Honda announced today that for the 2025 model year, its popular Rebel 1100 cruiser lineup receives important updates focused on comfort and convenience. The family also grows by one, with the addition of the Rebel 1100 DCT SE—a premium-level version that shines with a list of eye-grabbing features included as standard equipment, such as fork boots, handlebar-end rear-view mirrors, a color-matched headlight cowl, a short front fender, and a special seat.
“Since its 2021 debut, Honda’s Rebel 1100 platform has proven to be a big hit with American cruiser customers, so we’re excited to both improve and deepen the roster for 2025,” said Colin Miller, Manager of Public Relations at American Honda. “The entire platform now boasts more comfortable ergonomics, and the new Rebel 1100 DCT SE comes straight from the dealership with premium styling features. It’s clear that Honda values cruiser customers and takes their needs seriously.”
In addition to unveiling the Rebel 1100 platform, Honda confirmed the return of several other two-wheel models from five different categories: the head-turning Fury and timeless Shadow Phantom cruisers, the legendary Africa Twin and compact NX500 adventure bikes, the iconic XR650L dual-sport machine, the versatile CBR500R sport bike, and the stylish and affordable CB500F naked motorcycle.
2025 Honda XR650L Totalmotorcycle.com Features and Benefits
Four-stroke engine
The 644cc big-bore, single-cylinder, four-stroke engine offers excellent fuel efficiency and a wide powerband while requiring minimal maintenance.
18-inch rear wheel
The 18-inch rear wheel provides improved handling and various tire options for on- or off-road use, while its tall sidewall means added protection against flats.
21-inch front wheel
A 21-inch front wheel is in place primarily to improve off-road capability as a wide range of tire options are available that size.
Long-travel front suspension
The 43mm Showa® long-travel cartridge front fork is designed and developed with knowledge from countless Baja wins. It offers compression-damping adjustability, allowing you to fine-tune it for varying conditions on- and off-road.
Pro-Link® rear suspension
Our Pro-Link® rear suspension is designed to offer a comfortable yet controlled ride. It features a soft initial rate to absorb small bumps and progressively stiffer rates to prevent bottoming and maintain rear-wheel stability over rough surfaces.
Steel frame
The steel frame’s backbone also serves as the engine’s oil tank, saving weight and space, and is designed to withstand the rigors of off-road riding.
Disc brakes
Front and rear disc brakes have drilled rotors, reducing rotating mass for better agility, stopping power, and wet-weather performance.
Sealed battery
The sealed battery provides ample cranking power for the electric starter and is well-protected from the rigors and vibrations of off-road use, eliminating any maintenance issues.
Dry-sump lubrication
The oil is stored in the frame, which acts like a giant oil cooler. This enables a compact, dry-sump engine design that improves ground clearance and damage resistance.
Blacked-out style
To achieve a sleeker, more modern appearance, we gave the bike black rims front and rear, as well as black fork boots, seat, and tool bag.
Factory handguards
The handguards are designed to be off-road ready right out of the box and help protect against rocks, branches, brush, and more.
Quick-release fasteners
The quick-release fasteners on the left side cover make accessing the air filter, battery, and fuse box a snap – literally.
Fully street legal
Equipped with turn signals, a license plate light, mirrors, a speedometer, and all necessary components for street legality, this bike puts the ‘dual’ in dual sport.
Passenger ready
With its passenger grab strap, folding passenger pegs, and long MX-style seat, the bike offers ample space and comfort for carrying a passenger.
Electric starter
Adventure is just the push of a button away – the electric starter eliminates any off-road restarting drama or troubles getting going on cold mornings
