Design

The design of the new V2 draws inspiration from the stylistic concepts that have made the history of the Multistrada family: horizontally balanced volumes, with a light and short tail, and a front area characterised by sporty lines, emphasised by the side panels that load the front end. The shoulder surfaces, the front masses and the ‘beak’ – historically distinctive characteristics of the Multistrada – have been made more harmonious.

Like all Ducatis, the Multistrada V2 also combines design and functionality. The Centro Stile Ducati defined its lines in close collaboration with R&D technicians, to integrate aerodynamic solutions into the design studied to improve thermal comfort and protection from the elements.
The windshield, highly protective and adjustable in height, was defined through careful aerodynamic research that also involved the deflectors, perfectly integrated into the front line.

For thermal comfort, as on the Multistrada V4, upwash lateral air conveyors have been introduced, integrated into the design of the bike that help direct fresh air to the rider’s legs.

The new headlights and DRL inspired by the latest-generation Panigale and Multistrada V4 help to define a compact and aggressive front view, immediately recognizable. The shorter “beak” is well integrated into the windshield and creates a more harmonious image. The direction indicators, thin and harmonized in the design of the side panels, have been completely redesigned and repositioned to offer optimal visibility and create a gap between them and the fairing that allows the passage of fresh air towards the rider.

The tail is very slim and light, thanks to a shorter rear grab handle, completely redesigned to guarantee functionality and ergonomics.

Ergonomics and comfort

The ergonomics of the Multistrada V2 have been completely revised with great attention paid to comfort. The rider and passenger seats have been redesigned, and passenger roominess has been improved compared to the previous model in terms of legroom and torso space, thanks to rearward top box and side case attachments.

To allow the rider to rest their feet on the ground safely, the new Multistrada V2 has been equipped with a seat that can be adjusted to two positions, with heights of 850 and 830 mm. Furthermore, the Ducati

Performance catalogue offers as an accessory a seat raised to 870 mm, and one lowered to 810. On the S version, thanks to the semi-active DSS (Ducati Skyhook Suspension) and the Minimum Preload system, it is possible to lower the seat to 790 mm.

New Ducati V2 Engine

The new Multistrada V2 is equipped with the new Ducati V2 engine, a 90° V-twin, 890 cc, with IVT variable intake valve timing and distribution with coil spring valve recall. This new engine, extremely compact and lightweight – weighing only 54.9 kg – makes an important contribution to the reduction of the bike’s weight. In this configuration it delivers 115 hp at 10,750 rpm and 92 Nm of torque at 8,250 rpm.

Thanks to the variable valve timing, the V2 engine optimizes performance, delivery and consumption. The power at high revs is combined with a sustained torque delivery at low and medium revs: more than 70% of the maximum torque is already available at 3,500 rpm, and between 3,500 and 11,000 rpm the value never drops below 75%. This is combined with a more regular combustion at low revs, which provides a very fluid delivery at small throttle openings, and the larger flywheel, which improves riding pleasure especially in touring or traffic thanks to a smoother throttle opening response.

Finally, the gear ratios have been specifically designed for the Multistrada, with a shorter first and second gear to improve usability at low speeds and full load acceleration. The gearbox is equipped with the new Ducati Quick Shift 2.0, which offers a more precise pedal feel and faster gear changes.

Completely redesigned chassis

To improve comfort and riding pleasure on any route, the new Multistrada V2 is equipped with a completely redesigned frame, rear subframe and swingarm, which embrace the same construction philosophy as the Multistrada V4. The frame is an aluminium monocoque that uses the engine as a stressed element, the rear subframe is a steel trellis and the swingarm is cast in aluminium. All this, combined with the new V2 engine, allows the Multistrada to arrive at an extremely low weight: only 199 kg, in running order without fuel, for the V2 version, and 202 kg for the V2 S version equipped with semi-active suspension.

Thanks to a complete redesign and the solution of the monocoque frame, Ducati engineers have managed to create a slim bike, with a very narrow fit that allows you to put your feet on the ground more easily. Furthermore, the contact area of the knees and inner thighs with the surfaces of the bike has been improved, increasing riding pleasure and the sense of control at high speeds. Thanks to the new ergonomics, the new Multistrada V2 requires less handlebar effort to lean and guarantees more neutral behaviour when entering and going through curves.

The Multistrada V2 is equipped with a Marzocchi fork with 45 mm tubes and a Marzocchi shock absorber with progressive link, both fully adjustable. The Multistrada V2 S boasts semi-active suspension with Ducati Skyhook Suspension electronic control, further improving comfort, safety and performance thanks to new electronic strategies that limit diving during braking (anti-dive) and the tendency to “sit” during acceleration (anti-squat), ensuring optimal riding precision.

In addition, the Minimum Preload function allows the rear suspension to be lowered to a minimum with the simple press of a button, facilitating contact of the feet on the ground especially when fully loaded and with a passenger. As on the new Multistrada V4, the Suspension Modes can be selected independently of the Riding Modes, to choose the preferred suspension calibration while maintaining the electronic control parameters and engine response unchanged.

Both versions of the Multistrada V2 are equipped with a 19” front wheel combined with a 17” rear wheel, with Pirelli Scorpion Trail II tyres, and 170 mm of suspension travel, to offer versatility and riding feel. The Brembo braking system features a double 320 mm front disc and a single 265 mm disc, with benchmark performance in every situation.

Benchmark electronics package

The new Multistrada V2 boasts a complete electronics package, manageable via redesigned handlebar controls and the new 5” TFT colour dashboard, with a completely revamped multilingual interface based on three different Infomodes.

The five available Riding Modes (Sport, Touring, Urban, Enduro and Wet) offer the possibility of adapting the Multistrada V2 to any situation, setting the engine power and response to pre-configured and modifiable values, thanks to the four Power Modes with which the engine is equipped. The Riding Modes, of course, set the cornering ABS, Ducati Traction Control (DTC), Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC) and Engine Brake Control (EBC) to pre-defined levels, which can be modified by the rider.

The three Infomodes (Road, Road Pro and Rally) allow you to make the most of the dashboard’s capabilities, changing the information displayed to offer the rider the best riding experience in every situation: Road Pro, for example, provides the percentage of power and torque used in real time.
Finally, the Ducati Multistrada V2 is equipped as standard with Cruise Control, a USB socket integrated into the dashboard, the Ducati Brake Light EVO (which manages emergency flashing in sudden braking) and, in the case of the V2 S, the Ducati Multimedia System, with the possibility of activating the Turn-by-turn navigator accessory. Furthermore, the new Coming Home function keeps the low beams active when the ignition is turned off, to illuminate the area in front of the bike and make home entry easier.

Safe everywhere

Like all Multistradas, the new V2 is also designed to allow Ducatisti to travel with maximum peace of mind thanks to benchmark maintenance intervals (valve clearance check set every 30,000 km) and the 4EVER Ducati and Roadside Assistance programs. The first offers a warranty valid for 4 years with unlimited mileage*. The Roadside Assistance* program adds roadside assistance, transportation for the rider and passenger, a replacement vehicle and overnight stays in a four-star hotel in the event of problems that may arise during the period of coverage. All this with the peace of mind offered by a network of over 800 official Ducati dealers in over 90 countries around the world.

Accessories and availability

A wide range of accessories allows you to customize your Multistrada V2 according to the most diverse needs. Plastic cases with a capacity of 60 litres, or aluminium ones with a capacity of 76 litres, are mounted on the bike with floating attachments to improve stability and therefore safety. Steel protections help limit damage in the event of a slide and the centre stand makes maintenance and loading operations on the bike easier.

Adventure lovers can fit spoked wheels, which make the Multistrada V2 more versatile, allowing it to continue the journey when the asphalt ends. Finally, those who want to enhance their Multistrada V2 by changing the exhaust sound, can choose from the various solutions offered by Termignoni.
The new Multistrada V2 will be available in the standard version, and V2 S, featuring DSS semi-active suspension. The first is offered in the Ducati Red colour, while for the second you can choose between Storm Green and Ducati Red, with the additional possibility of opting for the Travel trim, complete with plastic side cases, centre stand and heated grips. The new Ducati Multistrada V2 will arrive in dealerships in January 2025, also in a 35 kW version for motorcyclists with an A2 license.

2025 Ducati Multistrada V2S Totalmotorcycle.com Features and Benefits

Design

The design of the new Multistrada V2 is elegant and sporty, in line with the stylistic and recognisable canons of the Ducati Multistrada family, in particular the V4, and taking inspiration from sporty SUVs. The clean surfaces, the fluid lines and the difference in volume between the front and rear, balanced from a horizontal point of view, are the most characteristic elements of the bike. The surfaces of the shoulders, the front masses and the beak – historically distinctive characteristics of the Multistrada – have been made more harmonious.

The lines of the new V2 were defined by the Centro Stile Ducati in close collaboration with the technicians, to integrate aerodynamic solutions into the design intended to improve thermal comfort and protection from the elements. The new windshield, highly protective and adjustable in height, was defined through a careful aerodynamic study that also involved the deflectors, perfectly integrated into the line of the front. Furthermore, as on the Multistrada V4, the “upwash” lateral air conveyors integrated into the design of the bike that help channel fresh air to the rider’s legs, have been introduced.

The new headlights and DRL inspired by the new Panigale and Multistrada V4 define a compact and aggressive front view, immediately recognisable. The shorter beak is well integrated into the windshield and creates a more harmonious image. The direction indicators, thin and perfectly integrated into the side panels, have been completely redesigned and repositioned to offer optimal visibility and create a gap between them and the fairing that allows the passage of fresh air towards the rider.

The tail is very slim and light, thanks to a shorter rear grab handle, completely redesigned to ensure functionality and ergonomics.

Engine

The new Multistrada V2 is equipped with the new Ducati V2 engine, a 90° V-twin, 890 cc unit with variable intake timing and distribution with coil spring valve recall. This new twin-cylinder is homologated according to the Euro5+ standard, has a displacement of 890 cc, is equipped with IVT (Intake Variable Timing) and aluminium liners. Extremely compact and lightweight – it weighs just 54.9 kg in the version mounted on the Multistrada V2, making a significant contribution to the overall lightness of the bike with a saving of 5.4 kg compared to the Testastretta Evoluzione 11° of the previous model – it delivers 115 hp at 10,750 rpm and 92 Nm of torque at 8,250 rpm.

Thanks to the variable valve timing, the V2 engine optimises performance, delivery and fuel consumption. Power at high revs is combined with sustained torque delivery at low and medium revs: more than 70% of the maximum torque is already available at 3,500 rpm, and between 3,500 and 11,000 rpm the value never drops below 75%. This is combined with a more regular combustion at low revs, which provides a very smooth delivery at small throttle openings, and the larger flywheel, which improves riding pleasure especially in touring or traffic use thanks to a smoother throttle opening response.

In this version, the new V2 is equipped with a more powerful alternator to properly handle even the heaviest electrical loads. The connecting rods and flywheel are reinforced to tackle even the most demanding adventures and offer a smoother response in relaxed riding. The resulting increase in the moment of inertia, equal to 12%, determines greater smoothness of operation at low revs in the face of an increase in engine mass equal to 0.51 kg.

Finally, the gear ratios were designed specifically for the Multistrada, with a shorter first and second gear to improve usability at low speeds and full load acceleration. The final ratio has also been lengthened (15/40 instead of 15/42) compared to the Panigale V2 and Streetfighter V2 applications to lower the engine rotation speed when travelling on extra-urban roads and motorways, thus reducing consumption and increasing rider and passenger comfort. The gearbox is equipped with the new Ducati Quick Shift 2.0, which offers a more precise pedal feel and faster gear changes.

Spring distribution, introduced with the V4 Granturismo, and confirmed on the new V2, has allowed the definition of an engine that emphasizes regularity at low revs and low maintenance. Valve clearance is checked every 30,000 km, confirming the benchmark intervals for the category.
The press kit of the new Ducati V2 engine is available on Mediahouse.

Ergonomics

The comfort of the new Ducati Multistrada V2 has been the subject of great attention, with an approach that has completely revised the ergonomics of the rider and passenger to make the bike even more accessible and further improve the high standards of comfort that the previous model offered in all its areas of use, from commuting to medium and long-range touring.

In particular, a position has been defined with a smaller height difference between the seat and the handlebars, and with a more natural handlebar/seat/footpeg triangulation for the rider. The rider and passenger seats have been completely redesigned, and the passenger’s roominess in terms of legroom and torso space has been improved compared to the previous model.

The customization options offered by the new Multistrada V2 are even more extensive, to better accommodate riders of all builds. The standard seat can be adjusted to two positions, bringing the height of the latter to 850 or 830 mm. Furthermore, through the seats offered by the Ducati Performance catalogue, it is possible to lower the seat height to 790 mm, in the case of the Multistrada V2 with semi-active Ducati Skyhook Suspension and active Minimum Preload system, or raise it to 870 mm.

Vehicle

On the new Multistrada V2, the frame, rear subframe and swingarm have been completely redesigned, adopting the same construction philosophy as the Multistrada V4 in order to make the bike more comfortable and at the same time high-performance. The frame is an aluminium monocoque weighing just 4 kg, which uses the new Ducati V2 engine as a stressed element, while the seat subframe is a steel trellis. In addition to fulfilling the classic function of a frame, the monocoque also acts as an air-box, housing the air filter, throttle bodies and fuel circuit complete with injectors.

The new double-sided swingarm, fixed directly to the engine, is made of low-pressure casting aluminium alloy, which allows for a reduction in the average thickness of the structure. The external design, strongly unloaded, recalls that of the Ducati Hollow Symmetrical Swingarm of the new Panigale V4.

All this allows the Multistrada to achieve an extremely low weight: just 199 kg, in running order without fuel, for the V2 version, and 202 kg for the V2 S version equipped with semi-active suspension, with a weight saving of 18 kg.

The choice of monocoque frame also offers the benefit of a slimmer fit area, which has no protrusions and therefore makes thigh and knee contact with the surfaces of the bike more pleasant for riders of all heights. The reduction in the lateral fit also makes it easier to put your feet on the ground for the same height of the rider’s inseam.

The greater lightness of the new Multistrada V2 offers major benefits in terms of handling, with a reduction in handlebar effort for leaning, greater neutrality in corner entry and cornering, and a generally greater riding pleasure in every situation. Furthermore, manoeuvres with the engine off and at low speed are less tiring and easier.

Suspensions and wheel rims

The Multistrada V2 confirms the technical layout based on a 19” front wheel, combined with a 17” rear wheel, with Pirelli Scorpion Trail II tyres and 170 mm of suspension travel, to offer versatility and riding feel even on less than optimal asphalt conditions. The fork is a Marzocchi with 45 mm stanchions, while the shock absorber, equipped with a separate reservoir and mounted laterally, on a progressive link fixed directly to the new double-sided swingarm, is produced by Marzocchi.

The Multistrada V2 S model is also equipped with semi-active electronically controlled DSS (Ducati Skyhook Suspension) suspensions that delegate the management of the hydraulic braking in compression and rebound of the fork and shock absorber to a control unit. The electronic strategies of the system have been evolved, with an increase in the anti-dive effect during braking and the limitation of load transfer to the rear during acceleration (anti-squat), with an improvement in riding precision and comfort for the rider and passenger.

As on the Multistrada V4, the Minimum Preload function allows you to reduce the preload of the rear shock absorber to a minimum by pressing a dedicated button on the left handlebar block, making it easier to keep your feet on the ground and manoeuvre at low speed. Furthermore, by acting on the preload, the Minimum Preload effect is even more marked when riding with a passenger, helping the rider precisely in situations where the greater load and higher centre of gravity of the bike can put him in greater difficulty.

Furthermore, using the dedicated button, the rider can now choose the suspension control strategy regardless of the selected Riding Mode. On this bike, he can activate the Dynamic, Comfort or Low Grip Suspension Modes, increasing support and precision, or comfort and stability, based on the type of route and conditions without changing the engine response or the behaviour of the electronic controls.

The aluminium alloy wheels are the same as the Multistrada V4, measuring 3.0” x 19” at the front and 4.5” x 17” at the rear, which contribute to greater agility. The tyres are Pirelli Scorpion Trail II in sizes 120/70 ZR19 at the front and 170/60 ZR17 at the rear.

The entire Multistrada V2 family is equipped with Brembo brakes with ABS Cornering function. The front system is characterized by the presence of Brembo M4.32 monobloc radial calipers with four 30 mm diameter pistons, radial pump with adjustable levers and double 320 mm front disc with aluminium flanges. At the rear, instead, we find a single 265 mm diameter disc on which a floating caliper, also Brembo, works.

Electronics

The new Multistrada V2 boasts a complete electronics package, manageable via redesigned handlebar controls and the new 5” TFT 16:9 colour dashboard, with a completely revamped multilingual interface based on Infomode.

To emphasize the cleanliness and elegance of the new dashboard, the physical warning lights have been removed from the external mask and moved inside the display with the sole exception of the red LED over-rev indicator. The rev counter and the gear indicator flash with a pulsating effect and turn green to indicate the moment of gear shifting, and red to signal the intervention of the limiter. During the running-in phase, the rev counter turns orange when the recommended number of revs is exceeded.

The screen has three display modes (Info Modes) called Road, Road Pro and Rally (all with automatic switching between night or day backlighting) which differ in the type of information shown and the relative graphic presentation. Using the joystick on the handlebars, you can switch directly between one Info Mode and another while riding.

The three Info Modes allow you to make the most of the dashboard’s capabilities, changing the information displayed to offer the rider the best riding experience in every situation: Road Pro, for example, provides the percentage of power and torque used in real time.

Latest-generation electronic controls

The new Multistrada V2 is equipped with modern and sophisticated electronics, based on the use of the 6-axis inertial platform, capable of instantly detecting the bike’s roll, yaw and pitch angles.

The Multistrada V2 electronics package consists of:
• ABS Cornering
• Ducati Traction Control (DTC)
• Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC)
• Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) 2.0
• Engine Brake Control (EBC)

The operating parameters of each control are associated by default with the five Riding Modes (Sport, Touring, Urban, Enduro and Wet). Rider are given the opportunity to customize their riding styles and restore the default parameters set by Ducati.

ABS Cornering

The ABS system of the Multistrada V2 includes the “cornering” function that extends the ABS intervention even when the bike is leaning and derives the intervention logics and control types of the Multistrada V4. The ABS Cornering can be set on three levels to fully accommodate the needs of all riders, even in the most critical low-grip situations.

While level 3 is suitable for low-grip conditions, ensuring safe and stable braking at all times and always keeping rear wheel lift under control during more accentuated decelerations, levels 2 and 1, prioritizing braking power, are more oriented towards sportbike riding on high-grip surfaces, and level 1 acts on the front wheel only. Both the “cornering” function and the intervention on rear wheel lift are disabled to generate maximum performance.

Ducati Traction Control (DTC)

The Ducati Traction Control strategy used on the new Multistrada V2 interfaces with the 6-axis inertial platform to adapt intervention and slippage to the lean angle of the bike. The software significantly improves power management when exiting corners thanks to the new “predictive” control strategy. By acting not only on the instantaneous value of rear spin, but also on its variation, it intercepts grip losses more quickly and reduces slippage peaks, thus ensuring faster and more regular intervention. All this translates into greater vehicle stability when exiting corners, even in less than optimal grip conditions.

In addition to managing ignition advance and injection, DTC provides for the intervention of the throttle body valves when rapid control intervention is not necessary, allowing optimal combustion parameters to be maintained and smoother engine response and intervention to be achieved. The control can be set to eight different levels (six designed for dry conditions and two for wet conditions), allowing riders to adapt the control strategy to their riding style, context and grip conditions.

Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC)

The Multistrada V2 is equipped with the latest version of Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC). This system, using information from the IMU 6D, controls wheelies and allows maximum acceleration performance to be achieved easily and safely. DWC detects the presence and extent of wheelies more accurately and intervenes to control them with a higher level of precision, so as to respond even more precisely to the rider’s requests.

Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) 2.0

The new Multistrada V2 uses the second-generation DQS introduced on the new Panigale V4. Compared to a traditional quickshifter, the gear lever is no longer equipped with a Hall effect microswitch, because the shift strategy is based solely on the gear sensor positioned on the gear drum. The benefit for the rider is a more direct shift feel, with a shorter, repeatable and less “rubbery” travel, which is particularly appreciated when riding on the track.

Engine Brake Control (EBC)

EBC (Engine Brake Control) was developed to help riders optimize the stability of the bike in extreme conditions when entering a curve, balancing the forces to which the rear tyre is subjected under conditions of intensive engine braking. The EBC of the Multistrada V2, optimized on the basis of the lean angle, monitors the position of the throttle valves, the selected gear and the deceleration of the new V2’s shaft during more aggressive braking, and precisely adjusts the throttle opening to balance the torque forces applied to the tyre.

Riding Modes

The Riding Modes allow you to choose between four different pre-set riding styles, to offer the Streetfighter V2 behaviour that is perfectly adaptable to the rider, the type of track and the environmental conditions. Each Riding Mode is associated with a different control parameter setting; by selecting the different Riding Modes you therefore have the possibility of instantly varying the engine character and the intervention of the electronic controls.
The five available Riding Modes (Sport, Touring, Urban, Enduro and Wet) offer the possibility of adapting the Multistrada V2 to any situation, setting the engine power and response to pre-configured and modifiable values, thanks to the four Power Modes with which the engine is equipped. The Riding Modes, obviously, set ABS Cornering, Ducati Traction Control (DTC), Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC) and Engine Brake Control (EBC) to pre-defined levels, modifiable by the rider.

Finally, the Ducati Multistrada V2 is equipped as standard with Cruise Control, a USB socket integrated into the dashboard, the Ducati Brake Light EVO (which manages emergency flashing in sudden braking) and, in the case of the Multistrada V2 S, the Ducati Multimedia System, which allows you to activate the Turn-by-turn navigator accessory. In addition, the new Coming Home function keeps the low beam headlights active when the ignition is turned off, to illuminate the road and make home entry easier.

The easiest Multistrada ever
The new Multistrada V2 offers the perfect balance of lightness, handling and comfort. The slim design and improved ergonomics make for smooth and accessible riding, while the new frame and V2 engine ensure stability and responsiveness. Every detail, from the seat position to the customization options, is designed to adapt to your riding style.

Redesigned front end

The front end of the new Multistrada V2 MY2025 stands out for its sporty lines, which lean forward for a more aggressive and dynamic look. The beak has been redesigned and is now shorter, better integrating with the rest of the bike. Blending perfectly with the side panels, the new fairings and deflectors boost the aerodynamics and thermal comfort. Inspired by the Multistrada V4 and the Panigale, the headlight makes for a more aggressive look and better visibility, while ensuring that the V2 is easily recognizable.

New 5” full TFT display

The new 5” full TFT colour display offers excellent visibility in all conditions, with optimum contrast and vivid colors. The interface has been completely redesigned to ensure an intuitive experience, with customizable layouts for easy viewing of all information.

Evolved chassis for greater precision and stability

The new Multistrada V2 MY2025 can count on a completely revised chassis. The aluminum monocoque frame, which rests on the supporting engine, contributes to reducing the weight and improving the bike’s agility. In addition, the trellis subframe and new aluminum double-sided swingarm boost stability and stress resistance, ensuring optimum control in every riding situation. These updates optimize comfort and handling, making the V2 more responsive and stable, both through the turns and at speed.

Independent Suspension Modes for customized riding

The new Suspension Modes on the Multistrada V2 MY2025 offer advanced control of the suspension and are completely independent from the Riding Modes. This means you can customise the suspension response without altering the engine power and operation settings. In this way, every rider can enjoy optimum comfort and improved stability, irrespective of their chosen riding style.

Performance and comfort combined.
The neutral geometry and possibility to adjust the seat to two heights ensures accessible and enjoyable riding for every rider, while advanced thermal comfort and an attention to detail improve the travel experience for both rider and passenger.

Reduced weight
The new Multistrada V2 MY2025 weighs an impressive 18 kg less than the previous model, the result of an effective design strategy and the use of an aluminum monocoque frame. Aside from cutting the overall weight, this solution allows for a particularly snug fit in the seat, improving the ease with which the rider reaches the ground with their feet, especially during low-speed manoeuvres.

Seat adjustable to two heights
Ergonomics are optimized with the possibility to adjust the seat to a standard height of either 850 mm or 830 mm. And to ensure even easier access, accessory seats and a suspension lowering kit can further reduce the height to 790 mm.

Neutral geometry
The neutral geometry of the new Multistrada V2 is the result of an effective design strategy that balances agility and stability to offer an intuitive and safe riding experience. Thanks to this configuration, the bike responds naturally to the rider’s requests, entering the turn with ease, holding the trajectory without corrective action, and ensuring heightened stability even at high speed. The frame design, steering angle and suspension, combined with a 19” front wheel and 17” rear, contribute to reducing effort at the handlebar and maximizing control, both on winding roads and over long range.

The five Riding Modes of the new Multistrada V2 ensure the bike can be adapted to every situation. Each mode allows the rider to customize the assistance system parameters and choose between the different Power Modes for optimum engine control with variable power (115 hp or 95 hp) and two different throttle responses, one smoother, the other more dynamic and responsive.

Sport Riding Mode
The best for road-going performance. In this mode, the new Multistrada V2 delivers the full 115 hp with a direct, spirited response, managed with a Skyhook sports suspension set-up on the S version. Ducati Traction Control and Ducati Wheelie Control invention are reduced to a minimum and the ABS, set to level 2, allows for controlled lifting of the rear wheel in order to maximize braking performance, while retaining the Cornering function. The ideal choice for expert riders who want to fully exploit the motorcycle’s potential.

Touring Riding Mode
In Touring Riding Mode, the Ducati Multistrada V2 unleashes its full 115 hp but delivery is smoother and more progressive. Higher DTC and DWC intervention levels satisfy the needs of touring use. The ABS is set to level 3, the safest and most prudential thanks to rear-wheel lift detection. On the S version, the suspension setting is specifically calibrated for long-range travel, ensuring maximum rider and passenger comfort.

Urban Riding Mode
In Urban Riding Mode power output is reduced to a maximum of 95 hp with a particularly gentle and progressive response (Low Engine Mode), while in the S version, the suspension setting adapts to urban obstacles such as speed bumps, potholes and manhole covers, effectively managing the continuous changes in surface. DTC and DWC are set to high levels, while ABS is set to level 3.

Enduro Riding Mode
The Enduro Riding Mode allows the new Multistrada V2 to make the most of its off-road potential. This Riding Mode limits engine power to 95 hp with a dedicated Engine Mode (Offroad), for a more dynamic and direct response with respect to Urban Mode, despite equal power. On the S version, this mode also sets up the electronics suspension for dedicated off-road use. The DTC and DWC systems are set to the specific off-road level, while the ABS is set at level 1, suitable for off-road use on low grip terrain. In this case, Cornering ABS functionality, and rear wheel intervention are all disabled.

New Wet Riding Mode
The new Wet Riding Mode is designed for riding in the wet. This mode limits maximum power to 95 hp with a particularly gentle throttle response (Low Power Mode). The predefined level of the electronic controls is set to offer maximum safety in wet conditions.

Safety and comfort under control
Whether on winding roads, urban routes or over long range, every detail is designed to offer a unique experience, for levels of control and comfort that are unprecedented for a bike in this category.

Skyhook suspension
With its numerous configuration combinations, the exclusive Ducati Skyhook semi-active suspension system on the S version allows the riding experience to be customized based on a specific route and riding style. The advantage of electronic suspension lies in the possibility to change the bike’s behaviour in a matter of seconds and identify the ideal configuration for every type of use.

Minimum Preload
Thanks to the Minimum Preload function, the rider can “lower” the bike when stationary or travelling at low speed, reducing shock preload to a minimum to facilitate foot contact with the ground.

New 5” full TFT display
A new dashboard integrates all the warning lights and three info modes for total control and all the info you need.

All the info you need
The screen offers three visualisation modes (Info Modes) known as Road, Road Pro and Rally that differ in terms of the information displayed and the relative graphic presentation.

Road Info Mode
The Road display provides all the essential information for road riding. The circular rev counter takes up the entire right side of the display, with the selected gear displayed in the centre. On the left is the speedometer and selected Riding Mode. On-board computer data features in the four corners of the display, displaying fuel level, time, coolant temperature and air temperature.

Road Pro Info Mode
The Road Pro version increases the amount of information shown, shifting the rev counter to the centre to leave room on the left for power and torque percentage levels. Parameters relating to the selected Riding Mode are visible on the right.

Rally Info Mode
Like the Road Pro Info Mode, Rally Info Mode focuses on the electronic control levels. In addition, it offers an adjustable master trip, to monitor the road travelled and keep track of the precise route.
