Greater riding stability: EVO Paralever
The latest generation of the Paralever, the BMW Motorrad EVO Paralever, provides outstanding riding stability and impressive handling.
As multifunctional as possible: the frame concept
Designed for the most enjoyable riding experience. Your R 1300 GS is a cleverly arranged package with highly concentrated components. The main and rear frames offer countless individualization options.
Riding comfort: Adjustable windscreen
The standard sport windscreen has a light and dynamic appearance and provides an excellent view of the road. It can be easily adjusted for variable wind and weather protection.
Nice and short: the rear
The short, steeply inclined rear offers numerous individualization options. It comes with the slim, sporty passenger seat as standard. Together with the functional sport grab handle bridge, it can be turned into a real visual highlight, and offers plenty of seating comfort for passengers.
Excellent handling: EVO Telelever
Precision, riding stability, enthusiasm. The new BMW EVO Telelever creates a feeling of transparency for the front wheel and a unique riding experience.
Distinctive sound: the exhaust system
The single-pipe exhaust system that is installed as standard generates an unmistakable boxer sound and drives you to keep on riding.
Extra dynamic: the GS Flyline
The dynamic GS Flyline accentuates the clear lines – from the front-wheel cover, to the vehicle cockpit, the tank, the seat, right up to the rear. The flat tank platform ensures outstanding ergonomics on short and long-distance journeys.
Reach the next level
Everything is designed with your needs in mind: next-level driving comfort. The innovative Telelever bearing offers excellent handling. The GS Flyline with an extra-flat tank seat line provides a new kind of freedom of movement, easy maneuvering, and a relaxed posture. The broad range of ergonomic options helps riders with varying needs to conquer any terrain. Be unmistakable
The scaled-back design, the unique body, the light aluminum tank – everything works together in an efficient and well-integrated manner. The subframe made from cast aluminum serves as the basis for endless possibilities. Together with the main frame, the standard cast wheels and the powertrain in Avus Black provide a darker border to the lower section, contrasted against the lighter front section of the body. The small, compact front offers an excellent view of the road. There is a clear break from tradition in the design with the new symmetrical light icon – a distinctive face.
Dynamics package
The optional dynamics package allows you to exploit the full potential of the sporty vehicle. Thanks to the shift assistant Pro and the Pro riding modes, every ride can be a highlight in driving dynamics with individual configuration options. The sports brake and the electronic suspension (DSA) serve to ensure optimal handling.
Headlight Pro
The optional Headlight Pro impresses riders with an improved view and a fitting aesthetic. The driving lights, high-beam headlights and cornering light are designed as an LED matrix. They offer modern lighting functions. This allows riders to illuminate the road in a way that best suits the driving situation.
Expanded hand protection
The optional, expanded hand protection provides optimal protection against the wind and weather conditions for your hands and forearms. As such, you will not only enjoy a more comfortable ride, you will also be better protected against disruptive influences.
Luggage plate
Luggage can be lashed to the luggage plate made from impact-resistant plastic. The plate uses the attachment element for the passenger seat and is easy to secure. In combination with the Vario cases, this creates a wide and even load platform. It can carry a payload of 11 lbs, and 44 lbs of luggage can be secured to the sides.
GS TROPHY
Streets ahead on off-road terrain: the front
The optional headlight guard and the turn indicator stalk of the Enduro package Pro, which is available as an optional extra, emphasize the off-road look in the front section and offer optimal protection on off-road terrain.
An off-road-ready extra: Sports suspension
The most fun off-road ride: With the optional sports suspension with up to 0.78” of additional spring travel, you can conquer fields, forests, and rivers.
The design: GS Trophy
The colors, the graphics, and the inscription show you what your bike can achieve off-road at a glance.
Solo sporty adventures: with the single seater
The optional single seater wins riders over with its minimalism and countless individualization options. The short, inclined rear gives the GS Trophy a more agile look – allowing you to conquer any terrain with ease.
Off-road must-have: Enduro package Pro
Equipped with the optional Enduro package Pro, you will be ready for anything. Included in the package: the large underride guard, the frame guard, and numerous adjustable components, such as the rider footrest and footbrake lever.
Equipped for all challenges: with radiator grille guards
Ready for tough off-road runs: The radiator grille guards that are installed on the GS Trophy as standard offer protection against damage from stone chips, for example.
Light and sporty: forged enduro wheels
The particularly light and stable optional forged enduro wheels offer an upgrade for off-road use. The wheels are cast, then forged, and are then given their distinctive BMW Motorrad branding.
Extra robust: the brake lever
The shortened Enduro brake lever included in the optional Enduro package Pro is ideally suited for off-road use.
GS TRIPLE BLACK
Active Cruise Control
When the available Active Cruise Control (ACC) is activated, you will ride at a pre-defined distance from other road users. The radar sensor integrated into the front helps ensure consistent speeds and distance.
Ideal all-rounder: Cross-spoked wheels
The optional cross-spoked wheels are well suited for whatever you may have planned, even for spontaneous off-road trips. They combine excellent off-road capabilities with an iconic aesthetic.
An imposing presence: Black painted parts
The tank and the painted parts in the front section have a sleek black aesthetic. The Triple Black inscription further emphasizes this.
Comfort for everyone: Seat heating for the passenger
You can enjoy a trip for two with the optional comfort passenger seat, where your passenger can enjoy the maximum level of comfort. If necessary, they can simply switch on the seat heating.
Well prepared with the luggage system
Wherever you may wish to go: Take everything you need. Upon request, there are case holders and topcase supports available for your luggage, which are each equipped with the available central locking system.
Quality in black: the frame
The main and rear frames are designed in black, like most of the surfaces. All of the surfaces are presented in an intriguing, muted interplay of shapes.
Everything under control with the multifunctional switch
You decide on the direction, and the Dynamic Cruise Control (DCC) maintains the configured speed. With the multifunctional switch, you have everything in hand.
Maximum riding comfort: the comfort seats
A comfortable seat makes every journey more enjoyable: You can look forward to riding on the optional comfort rider’s seat. You can keep your passenger happy too with the comfort passenger seat and the comfort rear footrest.
R 1300 GS Option 719 Tramuntana
Stylish appearance: golden cross-spoked wheels
The cross-spoked wheels gold-anodized rims are a visual highlight and round out the stylish look of your bike.
New Feature: the rear radar
Stay alert on the roads with the optional Riding Assistant. This includes a radar sensor in the rear that monitors the area around the motorcycle. When changing lanes, the warning lights integrated into the mirror will show you whether there is a risk of colliding with another vehicle.
Unique accents: Option 719
The golden GS graphic with lines creates captivating accents at the trim panel components of the tank, among others. The “Option 719” label on the tank cover signifies high standards.
Increased driving information: the Riding Assistant
New optional Riding Assistant. It monitors your surroundings using radar sensors and warns you of vehicles in your blind spot when changing lanes.
Maximum comfort: for your passenger, too
Enjoy a comfortable ride together: the comfort passenger seat with luggage carrier makes this possible. In cooler temperatures, there is also optional seat heating available.
More sophistication: the milled parts
In the upper section, there are many milled parts available to express exclusivity: the milled parts on the handlebars, the milled clutch lever with an adjustment lever to set the correct grip width, or the cover of the clutch expansion tank.
A sophisticated head-turner: other milled parts
In the lower section, too, there are numerous high-quality milled parts available, such as the milled footbrake lever with a foldable foot plate and rider footrest, or the milled ignition coil cover at the cylinder head cover.
Truly exclusive: golden handlebars
The optional gold-anodized aluminum alloy handlebars have a particularly exclusive look. The comfort windscreen with an electrical windscreen adjustment mechanism can be adapted to suit your needs.
