2025 BMW F900GS Totalmotorcycle.com Features and Benefits

Low-wear M Endurance chain
The M Endurance chain with low-wear DLC coating helps provide reduced maintenance on the rear wheel. It is part of the available Enduro Pro package.

Adjustable Showa fork
On the road with the right setting on any terrain: thanks to the sports suspension with 1.77”, fully adjustable Showa fork in the optional Enduro Pro package.

Enduro hand protector including metal bracket
Optimum protection on difficult terrain. The high-quality Enduro hand protectors with metal brackets and new trim for the F 900 GS Trophy help protect the controls and your hands against mechanical impacts and falls.

Additional handlebar risers
The handlebar risers made from an aluminum forging also come in the available Enduro Pro package. The handlebars can be adjusted 0.9” higher compared to the standard handlebars.

Distinctive GS logo
Everything about it symbolizes the #SpiritOfGS. Even the distinctive GS logo on the side of the radiator cowl: branding for adventurers.

Adjustable suspension strut
The available Enduro Pro package, including sports suspension, provides off-road endurance. The suspension also includes the high-quality, fully adjustable Sachs suspension strut with expansion tank.

Adjustable gearshift and brake lever
Find your perfect position with the adjustable gearshift and brake lever that comes standard with the F 900 GS.

Akrapovič rear silencer
The F 900 GS delivers a rich sound from the standard, titanium Akrapovič sport rear silencer.

As if built for you
The ergonomic triangle of the F 900 GS has been optimized for off-road use: higher handlebars, lower footrests. The footbrake lever is also higher and thus easier to reach, partly due to the lower rests. The folding foot plate also provides optimal accessibility. The adjustable gearshift levers allow you to assume your optimal riding position. Whether you’re riding with boots for the street or off-road, standing or sitting. Leaving your comfort zone has never been more comfortable.

Well equipped for any terrain
The body of the F 900 GS has been upgraded not only visually and technically, but also in terms of comfort. The hand protectors help provide protection. Made of plastic as standard, they offer increased wind and weather protection. The Enduro hand protectors with metal brackets also lend additional protection, especially for action-oriented riders of the F 900 GS Trophy. With the optionally available preparation for navigation devices, you can attach a BMW navigation device or other devices, such as an action cam, to the motorbike.

The destination is in sight
The available ConnectedRide Navigator clearly shows you the information you need to know on the road. In addition to important vehicle information, it provides you with current traffic information and, thanks to regular map updates, you can be sure you know the way to reach your destination. Its robust hardware can handle just about anything. And with the BMW Motorrad Connected app, you can also integrate your smartphone content.

Less weight, more confidence
The F 900 GS is astonishingly lightweight. You’ll notice that it weighs only 482 lbs* especially when you’re kicking up sand off-road, ploughing through gravel or climbing mountains. New parts such as the plastic tank, the battery, the rear and the Akrapovič rear silencer, among other things, provide the low weight. The comparatively low weight manifests in outstanding handling and high performance.

*(at curb weight)

Achieve everything with the right drive
Whether you’re on the straight asphalt or rough terrain: the parallel-twin engine of the F 900 GS delivers maximum riding pleasure on every surface. Two-cylinder in-line engine offers more peak power with an improved torque curve. With its optimized power curve, the F 900 GS reaches a peak output of 105 hp at 8,500 rpm. The broader torque curve offers up to 68.6 lb-ft at 6,750 rpm.

New and yet familiar: the body
The F 900 GS is ready to discover new ground, right down to the smallest detail. Its body has an ultra-sporty shape. The tank trim including radiator cowl looks very slender. The frame trims create good contact with the vehicle, especially when riding stood up. The standard windscreen is the optimum size for Enduro use. The small, distinctive GS beak boldly points the way towards your next challenge. The GS logo says that you ride at the head of the pack.

The rear and the tank of the F 900 GS from BMW Motorrad
A milestone not only in terms of weight optimization but also for the vehicle design is the lightweight plastic tank. It weighs 62% less than a steel tank, yet holds a full 3.8 gallons – enough fuel for your adventures. The rear is altogether slim, and the GS has become light as a result. You can easily attach soft bags, rucksacks or aluminum cases here.

Enduro Pro package
The available Enduro Pro package is the ideal upgrade for those who prefer off-road to on-road riding. It contains black handlebars with handlebar risers made from an aluminum forging. This makes the handlebars another 0.9″ higher than the standard handlebars. Also included in the package is the sports suspension, with 45 mm, fully adjustable golden Showa fork and fully adjustable Sachs suspension strut with expansion tank. The robust M Endurance chain rounds the package off.

Dynamics package
The available Dynamics package, including Riding Modes Pro and Shift Assistant Pro, offers improved control and athleticism. You choose the riding mode to suit the situation – “Rain” for wet and “Road” for dry surface conditions. With “Dynamic”, you get the max out of your F 900 GS on the asphalt. “Enduro” sets your bike up for off-road routes. The Shift Assistant Pro helps give you more control in unexpected situations.
