2024 Yamaha YZ85: VICTORY: NEVER GIVEN, ALWAYS EARNED.

Introducing the new 2024 Yamaha YZ85…

Built for fun. Built to win. The renowned YZ85 serves up big‑bike specs in a small‑bike package.

Built for fun. Built to win. The YZ85 serves up big-bike specs in a small-bike package. Boasting many premium features to earn its stripes in the YZ lineup, the YZ85 is ready to win races straight off the dealership floor.

Yamaha has been building championship winning 2-stroke motocross bikes for 50 years. Along the way we’ve won just about every title worth winning. The latest YZ85 comes with the same advanced race-bred technology that goes into the company’s adult motocross machines, and is ready to power you into the victorYZone.

Many of today’s pro riders started their careers on the YZ85. And when you take a look at what this bike has to offer you can see why. Its high performance 85cc liquid-cooled 2-stroke engine is equipped with Yamaha’s race-bred YPVS that gives you holeshot-winning acceleration. And its adjustable suspension systems are built to master the toughest tracks.

The YZ85 also comes with a lightweight aluminium rear frame and aluminium swingarm, large diameter disc brakes and a high-efficiency air intake – just like the bigger YZ125. For maximum rider control there’s a flat seat, slim body, and an ergonomic fuel tank. And with a duo-tone Icon Blue color scheme and new graphics completing the looks, the YZ85 is ready to power you to the next level.

YPVS™ Two-Stroke Power
The 85cc liquid-cooled, two-stroke engine features the Yamaha Power Valve System (YPVS™) for increased low- and mid-range power without losing peak power at high rpms, reducing the need for frequent shifting.

FULLY-ADJUSTABLE SUSPENSION
Lightweight 36mm KYB® inverted cartridge fork features low-friction outer tubes, external compression and rebound damping adjustability, paired with a race-proven fully-adjustable KYB® rear shock. Both offer loads of suspension travel to tackle serious off-road competition.

HIGH-SPEC WHEELS & BRAKES
Stylish blue, lightweight 17-inch front and 14-inch rear rims are durable, reduce unsprung weight for optimal suspension performance, and come wrapped in Dunlop® MX3S tires for exceptional traction. Big 220mm and 190mm disc brakes offer precise control and outstanding stopping power.
