Built around the same basic architecture as Serial 1’s acclaimed /CTY bikes and using the same mid-mounted Brose S Mag motor and proprietary, super-compact battery system to optimize mass centralization and ensure optimal handling, the SWITCH/MTN is elevated with off-road specific geometry and a host of trail-worthy technology to create an exceptionally competent off-road machine. SR Suntour’s premier ZERON35 BOOST AIR fully adjustable suspension fork absorbs big hits and small stutters with equal ability, while grippy, high-volume Michelin E-Wild knobby tires deliver excellent traction and a TranzX dropper seat post lets the SWITCH/MTN rider incrementally adjust the riding position instantly for equal measures of comfort and confidence in all riding conditions.
Drivetrain components come from SRAM’s SX Eagle line-up, including a 1×12 gearing combination controlled with eBike-specific single-click trigger shifters to provide the perfect gearing for any terrain, on-demand. Braking is equally up-spec, with TRP Slate T4 hydraulic disc brakes likewise built specifically for eMTB use. Powerful, four-piston calipers clamp down on oversized rotors that measure 203mm in diameter and 2.3mm in thickness for fade-free performance even on very long and very fast descents.

Today Serial 1 launched BASH/MTN, the second offering from its Select Series—limited-edition, special-production versions of the company’s standard eBikes that have been elevated with premium finishes, added technology, and unmatched attention to detail. (The first Select Series offering was the white-tired MOSH/TRIBUTE that sold out almost immediately.) The BASH/MTN build will number just 1050 units: 525 for the United States and 525 for Europe.

BASH/MTN takes the minimalism of the mega-popular MOSH/CTY and adapts it for off-road adventure with grippy, high-volume Michelin E-Wild knobby tires, a shock-absorbing SR Suntour NCX suspension seat post, and extra-powerful, four-piston TRP hydraulic disc brakes. Built on a sturdy chassis featuring a forged crown, 35mm alloy stanchions, magnesium lowers and a high-performance sealed cartridge that provides 120mm of travel, the ZERON35 BOOST AIR, is built to deliver a smooth ride, razor-sharp handling, and rock-solid durability. The easy-to-tune air spring and click-to-adjust rebound and compression damping means you can quickly and confidently dial-in the suspension characteristics to precisely suit your weight, riding style and favored terrain.
Integrated Battery
Built to automotive-grade specifications to ensure reliable operation across all conditions—including aggressive off-road riding—the compact and super-durable 529Wh lithium-ion battery is integrated into the frame for sleek style and a lower center of gravity compared to other eBikes. Easily removable for convenient off-the-bike charging, it can also be charged on-the-bike through a charging port located on the lower left side of the frame.
