FZ750 tranny swap to 1997 YZF1000rj

Hello, I have owned a 1997 YZF1000r since 1998. I would like swap tranny gears from an FZ750 as I read a post on a forum a few years ago that the 6 speed in the FZ will fit the engine casing with no alterations to engine case. Does anyone know if it has been done before. Thanks, Bruce
