Motorcycle Lift or jack
Have been researching motorcycle lifts. Would like something as winter storage for my 950T, as well as, a lift that is safe and easily maneuvered for maintenance. Does anyone have any recommendations? J & S, although costly seems to represent something worth the investment. Does anyone own and have opinion? Thanks, TourGAL2012

I have one of this lifts. Yes they are more maneuverable and easier to maintain. Bought it directly from their on line site. The only down side is the price.

I use a platform lift from HF.
the bike sets on its tires.
With the above style my bike rests on its exhaust...
I'm not sure that's a good idea in my case.

Re: Motorcycle Lift or jack
I've seen users bolt on custom cut out 4x4's to those atv/motorcycle lifts. It allows the wood to come into contact with the frame while missing crushable exhausts or other nonstructural parts. Great solution if you have access to saws.

very easy lift, even on the 540 pound zrx1100. I was shocked at how easy.

Sorry, i just looked at the 950t...these probably aren't what you are after, but maybe someone else will benefit.

Sears has a great selection of lifts and stands.
