Re: Not so quiet now.
Boo hoo. Another loss. Canucks 2 Boston 5
Game 7 and the deciding game for the Stanley Cup is Wednesday night back in Vancouver. We have home ice advantage so hopefully it will help. The ice in Boston is lousy and a lot of players keep falling. The puck doesn't glide like it should because of the mushy texture of the ice. They had the same problem last time in Boston, too. (both teams)
So...Wednesday night 5pm pacific time. Stanley Cup final game.

Jammer om te hoor, on your non understanding.
I am only helping out here, you guys talk about it being cold and playing on ice and stuff. I thought I would knit you a scarf while I watched the soapie play out.
Did you hear about the blond polar bear that got caught in a trap, chewed of 3 legs and was still stuck.

I am still very proud of the team though. The Canucks made it all the way through the whole season and to the final game of the Stanley Cup playoff. They had a good team, but lost some key players to injuries.

I'm embarrased to say I was born in GVRD. It's times like this I know why I will never live there again. Surely, that crowd cannot be called "Canadians"???

Re: Not so quiet now.
Those people were not fans. They probably did not even live in the city. They had trouble on their mind before they went there. The morons who started the riot will get caught. The CBC has their studio right where the rioters started making trouble and the whole thing has been filmed. Also, there were lots of people with their personal cameras taking shots and they gave them to the police.sunshine229 wrote:I'm embarrased to say I was born in GVRD. We Vancouverites are not like that. This was the twisted mind work of a few.
