Nice bike! Sadly, '06 was the last year for the z750 in the states. Since it doesn't fit nicely into the cruiser or sportbike molds, it's not considered worthy of the U.S. market. Personally, I think they're great. Have fun with it!

Yeah, so far it's a great bike. This is after a couple weeks of commuting...it definitely has a buzz that sets in around (I think) 5000rpms or so, around when you switch gears anyway so not too bothersome. The steering is "heavier" than the EX500 was, don't know if this is from the bike itself being heavier, steering geometry, or what. It could also be the tires, they were inflated to 32/32 when I picked it up and the manual says you want them at 36/42.
Coming from the EX500 this bike is wickedly fast, with no effort at all. Yet, it is also very well behaved, not twitchy at all. And, thankfully, it is rock solid in the horrendous wind of the Bay Area where the little Ninja was all over the road.
And while I still like the look of it's big brother more, this bike is pretty sharp looking. Can't wait to take it on a longer ride...next weekend Doc Wongs riding clinic!!!
Cheers :motorcycle:

Thats true I also like the looks of the 1000 better, especially that heat treated muffler that gives it that gold colour that is sexy as hell.
