The OFTR (Ontario Federation of Trail Riders) is an organization dedicated to keep our right to ride. From its web site:
"To organize and manage the growth of off-road motorcycling in Ontario and to gain recognition in land use and trail issues."
We are losing trails fast and this organization is fighting to keep them! For more information:

People that ride ATV's and dirt bikes abuse and destroy the land, thats why you see more and more land closed, they dump garbage, break down fences, pollute water streams, chase out wildlife, abuse and destroy mining equiptment. It only take a few bad riders to ruin it for everybody.

My Gawd. Are you on the wrong site? Shouldn't you be out hugging a tree somewhere? Your quote is waaay out of line. Maybe your friends that ride do the above damage, but mine don't!MotoF150 wrote:People that ride ATV's and dirt bikes abuse and destroy the land, thats why you see more and more land closed, they dump garbage, break down fences, pollute water streams, chase out wildlife, abuse and destroy mining equiptment. Yes, I agree that a few bad riders do ruin it for everyone, that is what the OFTR is for, to educate them that riding areas are getting harder to find.
Tread lightly, tread quietly and respect the land!
