AMA Conference Bug Fun Game

#1 Unread post by follow »

So this past weekend I decided to go for a bit of a long ride, I took a ride up to North Dakota and back (for those who do not know I live in Co.) and it was a very nice ride.
So by the time I got home my bike was plastered with Bug guts and what ever was left behind of them.
Most of you know when riding you may come up with some strange ideas :brightidea: anyways I thought since most of you are riding from a far lets make a little game of it.
I would like for you all to print up a target about 4x4 in size and place it on your bike and lets see who gets the most bugs on the target. The winner is the person with the most bugs and who gets a bullseye.
I fiqure I would treat the winner to lunch. Also having this card on your bike we would know that you are a member of the forum and we can spot you (your bike at least).
Well anyways this is my crazy thought, what do you all think?
I follow a new highway I haven't traveled before.

I think I may be coming the farthest....so I declare myself the winnner now.

Actually.....let's design the target board and post it...then we can all make a print. Do you think we could put it in a ziplock and tape the ziplock to be hit....what if it rains?

You may be coming the farthest but the bugs have to hit the target ..
I thought about the design but I am not computer suavvay. I know we have a good crowd here, someone could pull that one off. I was thinking having TMF as the bullseye in the center. I went on a bug run once and there was a down pour, my bugs stayed on the cardstock target and did not wash off, on my hubbies some of them did, I won.
Anyways glad you like the idea. I think it would be fun.

I remember hearing a story of a rally that included an award for closest to the bullseye. Each rider was given an "X" sticker to put where they wanted to. The rider with a bug splat closest to the center of their "X" won.

Not quantity, but quality  A clear piece of tape with "X" drawn in permanent marker would suffice... no special computer skills required.

Just a thought.
