I have not ridden one of these.....a friend of mine owns one. Not a 2015 mind you...

He mostly likes the bike....however....it's got some noise issues...once the bike is warm the noise goes away....

He took the bike in to the shop to have it checked....nothing wrong...just a crappy design that makes noise.

I generally like this category of bike, so the Super Ten at least merits a cool. The 660 Tenere though looks like something straight out of Mad Max.

I went with Cool.

I almost give it an uncool, but the 660 Tenere (to me) looks so much uncooler that the Super Tenere went up a notch. I like the idea of the 1200 engine and just 575lbs, but the power/weight can hamper off-road agility... Still a cool though, depending on what you are using it for. :)

What can be said, this is another strong contender in the adventure class and I suspect it has good sales as a result. This bike looks a bit better to me than the V-Strom (sorry Mike) but I do find it a bit pricey. Otherwise, cool!

I'm late to the party on this one but Yamaha is still milking success they had in the Dakar in the 70s and 80s? Bit of a stretch don't you think? I hope this thing has moved on from there!

Now to me at least, that 660 looks awesome and much more like the real deal.
