Sorry to hear about your crash, glad the bike damage was mainly cosmetic. Especially good that your new suit kept YOU undamaged.

Get on those big brakes the instant the road becomes blind ahead of you, then speed up again when you can see that the road ahead is clear, yadda yadda yadda.... I'm sure you've heard it all before but so many folks (my riding buddy included) go charging into a blind corner assuming it's clear.....and it usually is......but you can't count on it.

Good to hear! You'll save considerable $$ when you do your own wrenching for maintenance and especially repairs. Plus the satisfaction of doing it yourself and knowing how things work.

I'd take a little red paint or even a felt and color in the white lines to make it a little less noticable.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.
