Anyone else having troubles adding smilies from the "View more smilies" pop up box, using IE? There is no issue in Firefox but for some reason they won't work in IE.

Seem to be alright here, I'm on IE 10. Don't really want to be, but I gave up reverting back to IE 9 every couple of days because my computer thinks it's its own boss.

Ya, seems to be my IE11. Firefox seems to work, I'll have to look into this even more as it appears to be an issue with just my comp.

Oh Christ, there's an IE11 out? :::turns off automatic updates::: I'm only just now getting to where I can navigate on 10 without throwing up in my shoes.

Well, that's sad then ie11 doesn't like the popup smilie window... booo on Microsoft for not liking smilies! What are they thinking?! I wonder if there is an option or setting to allow it to work... Really sad though as the 350+ smilies really add a cheer to the messages and I've sure the smilies will be heart-broken when I tell them they won't have a job in ie11.

Is IE11 displaying some sort of security warning or prompting to allow pop-ups? I have to guess it's just a security thing.

haha..I did not know there was an IE11. I'm on IE10 and the smilies work just fine.

I tried the google browser but it seemed slower than IE. I never had any luck with Firefox.

Mike
...best not to tell them... :ninja:

If it's really not fixable (like JackGreen says.. maybe it's just a security issue?) then perhaps we can switch out some of the smilies that appear in the normal box at the left...?

I was also thinking that if there's a way for you to display their smilie code instead of the caption in the pop up box, then maybe we can just pick the code out and type it in.
