First of all Thank You for having this site up and running. It has a lot of information and has been a lot of help. I will be a supporter as soon as I get a pay check in (Yes I do have a job).

As for what this post is for can we get a search button? I have noticed that new topics are brought up when there have been old threads all about it.

I know it has been brought up before but is there any way we can add a spell check? My spelling is trible no terribel no terabile no terriblale no terrible there it is yeah!

ter·ri·ble 1. distressing; severe: a terrible winter.
2. extremely bad; horrible: terrible coffee; a terrible movie.
3. exciting terror, awe, or great fear; dreadful; awful.
4. formidably great: a terrible responsibility

Look at the top of your screen, underneath the TMW logo - you'll see a whole bunch of links. Third from the left on the second line is the one you want.

You should add a toolbar with spellcheck to your browser
People say I'm stupid and apathetic. I don't know what that means, and I don't care.

+1 I see these dang little red squiggly underlines all over the pages. BTW jonny, apparently "spellcheck" is two words  ...and our name is spelled wrong too.

I always follow the rules.
The only exception to the rule occurs when I make an exception to the rule not to make an exception to the rule and that only occurs under exceptional circumstances.

Can we have a search option for Members...

And a jump to page# for the sort facility on the members page

(Yes I've been looking for someone :))

While we are talkign about searching, how about a members rides selection in the profile and a capacity to search that - we are a motorycle comunity!

Cheers Mike.

I would like something like that as well, I'll look into it, I'd like to switch the forum one day to a better forum that gives more versitility, but I definately don't want to lose the members or messages...

As of writing this, we have 163 pages of members, which is a lot. I can change it from 75 members per page to 100 if that helps, but changing that also affects the forum as well (you'll see 100 messages a page rather than 75).

The search/sort options available are: http://totalmotorcycle.com/BBS/memberlist.php

If it bothers you, TS, try typing your post up in Word (or whatever), spellchecking it and then copy/pasting it into the forum. Works a treat and is dead straightforward.

But, hey, you're among friends. And the world if full of bad spellers. Why bother?

(Spellcheckers are part of the problem, not the solution.)

Cheers
