I ride a 2005 derbi senda, it has a 70cc airsal engine and a 12,5 mm carb and it only gets normal power at higher rpm. I can go about 60km/h and it sudently starts to scream and gets up to 80-90km/h ir a few seconds, I know that changing a carburator would fix it but is there anything else I can do?

Try to check your fuel filter this is one of the common reasons why you are experiencing this problem.

I recommend cleaning the fuel filter and changing the fuel used. If it contaminates motorcycle parts, then it is clearly not suitable for use.

The fuel is good, i mix it up myself, but what does fuel have to do with a bike getting a lot of power at mid rpm?
