Slip on exhaust. need help!!

#1 Unread post by nozzyrozzy3 »

I currently bought my 2017 Hyosung gd250r 6 months ago, i am wanting to change out the stock exhaust because it is so ugly and quiet. I bought a slip on exhaust but the pipe reducer that came with it is a bit to big. The slip on is 2in and the original pipe on the bike is 1 and 1/4. What should i do?

Return the slip on and buy one with the proper sized joiner? Could always bring the whole set up to a welder shop though.

If the shop sent you the wrong item, return it and they should pay for return shipping also.

Side note, your bike is a 250. It’s never going to be a big noise machine just so you know. I did put a shortie emco on my 250, it’s louder now, but it’s a chihuahua at the end of the day, never going to sound like a Rottweiler.

Sorry for bringing back an old thread for this inquiry. Would you mind helping me figure out aftermarket dirt bike exhausts install on my Panigale?

So what exhaust did you end up with? My buddy recently got this Panigale project and he's looking to get akrapovic slip on. The bike has an idling issue so we'll check that out, got to finish first the installation of the suspension from 4Wheelonline onto the truck tomorrow before we can take a closer look at the bike.
