Windshield Woes

#1 Unread post by JackoftheGreen »

PowerSlave needs a new windshield, has for awhile, thanx to the horrors visited upon by one person taping a FOR SALE sign to his windshield for better than a year -- and then a buyer who wasn't fully converscent with the differences between plexi and poly when he tried to clean the tape residue. That'd be me... )-:

Anyway, I found someone locally who's selling a windshield with mounts off a 1996 VN800B, and I'm like 95% certain that it would fit my 2001 VN800B. From the pictures it looks like the exact same mounting hardware I have now, which is all genuine Kawasaki Fire & Steel. Can anyone toss in that last 5% certainty for me?

Is the bike close by. Maybe take a spin and have a look in person.

Measure once, don't regret twice. :D

Yes, definitely bring your bike over and see. It just takes a few minutes to measure or take it off and see. :D Is it a good deal?
