honda shadow exhaust

i got a 2009 honda shadow 750 aero and am wondering about changing exhaist. do you have to get a jet kit or can u just swap and go and also would a exhaust off a 98 suzuki intruder fit? thanks

You'll probably have to rejet your carb. I'm suprised Honda was still using carbs in 2009. Actually had to look it up. And probably not on the exhaust.

I would agree, you will most likely need to rejet. K&N makes some great jet kits. Also remember the "power triangle"

Spark

To increase power, you need to increase all 3 idealy.
