I did have a good time. Including on one of the days, when a riding buddy cancelled on me because she decided to do something different with her husband, so I ended up riding alone. In 2 days, I put on about 600 miles, visited with two friends and a cousin in three locales, hung out for a bit at the gravesite of my great-grandparents, and went to two parties. It was good... :-)

Without going into the whys of the relationship; my half brother's half brother slipped and fell in a shower at the gym, the funeral wasn't that pleasant...
