Finally in Texas!

#1 Unread post by Shorts »

GEEZ LOUISE! What a long trip but we're finally here. I have had my inaugural Whataburger as well so, its off to a good start. So many places we want to hit up and shop and eat, so little time until after this wedding.

Well, hopefully I can keep up with the goings on around here. I'm missing my routine!

yeehaw! Okay, this nor'easter will stop trying to impersonate a Texan ;-)

Congrats on getting to visit home. And the fact that it's warm down there. Lucky.

Welcome back to the good old USA, I get to come home for good in three months. Counting the days...

Mostly it's the food I miss, then again I'm a chef in training.
I'm starting a petition to cull narrowminded dull people - be afraid Peter, be very afraid....

The last couple days around here have been gorgeous. We're dying of jealousy seeing all the folks out riding.

We haven't moved from Japan, just visiting is all. So the bikes are still at home.

Hopefully on the drive south today we can stop at the Aprilia dealer in New Braunfels and then of course as many of the bike shops we'll see in SA and CC.

Its been a wild weekend. We're looking forward to some nice relaxed downtime this week - looking and shooting guns, fireworks and getting our fill of bike and truck dealerships.

Sounds like my summer, spent about two weeks on my grandparent's property with an air rifle across my knees, lounging and killing cans. I wanted to get some pistol shooting in too but mine kept jamming. As it turns out there was a lump of gunk on the feed ramp. It had been put away dirty and left in storage for three years. No, not by me. But it cleaned up nicely.

Food... must wait three more months for foood
