music, and the listening of it
been a while since we've had a thread on this subject IIRC. And tastes change/new bands are discovered. Just wondering, what kinda music do you guys listen to?
I've started to listen to hardcore a lot more as of late. Ecspecially the hardcore bands that do the ocasional soft (relativly speaking) song.
some of my favorites (for now) not all of it is hardcore. Some of it is a little emo, some of its a little scene:
a day to remember
a skylit drive
after the sirens
alexisonfire
apocalyptica
armor for sleep
as i lay dying
atreyu
boy hits car
emery
freya
haste the day
he is legend
him
hopesfall
in flames
linkin park
lost prophets
panic! at the disco
saosin
stutterfly
thrice

Gee, I think my music choices are a little too broad to narrow down in one post. Suffice to say I listen to
everything from ABBA to Zeppelin, and from Opera to Rap. A little bit of everything and a whole lot of a
few of them.
Speaking of music, I listen to a local classic rock station's morning show. Yesterday they let out a rumour that
Sting, Stewart Copeland and Andy Summers were going to be rehearsing for a possible tour to celebrate the
thirtieth aniversary of the release of Roxanne, as well as a performance at the Grammy's.
Rumour turned rapidily into fact as four semi's were unloaded at Lion's Gate Studios all bearing crates
marked with the band members names... What a cool concert that would be.

Too broad to list. Anything from Pachabel to Powerman 5000, Miles Davis to Mos Def (though admittedly they're the only rap group I can tolerate), Led Zeppelin to Louis Armstrong.
Though recently (like, yesterday) I discovered two great bands. I've no idea how old they are but they're awesome.
Explosions in the Sky
Widespread Panic
They're like, classic rock, but kinda jazz too. It's a mixture of sounds, it's great.

Listen some system of a down (specifically their hypnotize album) they do alot of songs that go from really hard to soft, then back to hard again.I've started to listen to hardcore a lot more as of late. Ecspecially the hardcore bands that do the ocasional soft (relativly speaking) song.
As far as what I listen to, I'm kinda like one of the above posters, I like everything from abba, to zeppelin, to godsmack to some hip hop/rap. I don't touch country though, it's yucky.
