Problem solved. Somehow that page had infiltrated to be the homepage. I got rid of it now.

The other problem is that I can't ride of the Nero that is in the program list. In the add or remove programs, Nero is still in there. It won't go away.

Sigh.....

I had uninstalled Nero because I never used it. But it is still in the list.

Hi, you all shared really nice comments here about browser and I personally really like to the Fire Fox because it have many features as like the Computability. Mozilla has a central place of free Firefox add-nos where you can install themes, dictionary, mail notifiers, Phish Checkers, Football Score Updater (Think it's called Footy or something like that, So I must recommend this one for enjoying and using net suffering without any worry.

Well, I turned what could have been an expensive fix into a $15 fix. My computer shut down with a failure on the Video card. With no video on the MOBO, so replacing my aging AGP card was looking to be tough. Doing photo and the odd video I need a half decent card and can't afford the upgrade to a computer with PCIe slots to get the best of the best...

Well, to make a long story short, I found out the card is okay, and just went out and bought a new VGA chipset heat sink and fan combo and did the install myself. I wish I could afford that bright shiny new computer I saw, but not today...

That is great news! Yes, sometimes it's just heat related that can cause a lot of computer issues. I have to go out today myself and buy a can of compressed air to blow out the dust between the CPU heat sink fins as I've been having some blue screens lately and hopefully that will fix it... and it's been quite hot here in Houston as well which computers don't really like.

If you got, say, 6 years out of the AGP card (or more) then that's really, really good in computer terms. There were a good few AGP cards around and looking on eBay might net you a $50 card that was worth a few hundred back in the day. This is a great one for the price for $5: http://www.ebay.com/itm/BFG-Tech-GeForc ... 2c6fe3cbe8 or $50+ http://www.ebay.com/itm/Sapphire-ATI-Ra ... 1c3393a7a2 or http://www.ebay.com/itm/Axle3D-nvidia-G ... 5aec321145 in fact if you can find a AGP card with 512MB or 1GB of memory on it, you can be assured it was a top of the line model.

Is it normal for a full anti virus and security scan to take over 6 hours?
