I understand that a school can have a "no tolerance" policy on weapons. What in the world does that have to do with a picture of a weapon? I'm not making the connection. I would assume that the policy forbidding weapons is to make sure that no one uses a weapon at school. How can you kill or maim someone with a picture? It makes no logical sense.

I think if the school's policy truly does extend to photographs of weapons, then they might have to review the materials in their history curriculum. I'm willing to bet that you'd find pictures of people with swords, guns and even tanks in those books.

I think the school administrators are way off base on this one, and their excuse doesn't hold water.
