KTM & WIMMER RST at the Essen Motor Show!
The Essen Motor Show will begin in just over a week, namely from November 25 to December 4, 2016. The show is the signal to get passionate about all things automotive when around 300.000 visitors are set to attend Europe's biggest automobile and motorsport fair. Naturally KTM is again among the 500 exhibitors – first in the Motorsport Hall 5, Stand B122 where experienced motorsports people, aficionados, and interested others will discover everything about the successful KTM racing cars and their respective racing series over an exhibition space of 120 square meters. The focus will be on the KTM X-BOW GT4 and the possibilities to race it in worldwide competition, the X-BOW BATTLE, the ROOKIES CHALLENGE but also naturally on the REITER YOUNG STARS!

Meanwhile in one Hall further on, to be exact, in Hall 5 on Stand A108 KTM’s dealer partner Wimmer Rennsporttechnik, focuses on the brand new face-lifted models of the KTM X-BOW R and the RR. These are causing a sensation both on and off the track, and with or without road-use homologation. There will also be a celebration for a world premiere at the stand. General Manager Thorsten Wimmer is also the perfect spokesperson when it comes to tuning existing KTM X-BOW models with parts from KTM’s extensive PowerParts program!

The REITER YOUNG STARS pay tribute to their winners!
KTM partner Reiter Engineering has honored the winner of the “REITER YOUNG STARS” 2016 at an impressive event in the ‘Museum der Moderne’ on Salzburg’s Mönchsberg. The title winners of the driver's competition - Finland's Marko Helistekangas and Australia’s Caitlin Wood won against a high profile field of starters - were already announced after the final race in Zandvoort. However, the student team winners were only announced at the ceremony. The fastest lap times were decisive for the drivers, but the students won points for fuel calculation, engineering, team management and pit stops. In the end, it was FH Aachen (RYS Team WP) with 575 points in front of the Saarland University (RYS Team KTM) and students from the University of Hertfordshire (RYS Team Holinger) who were successful. They celebrated together and late into the night. With the REITER YONG STARS, Reiter Engineering introduced an entirely new motorsport concept in the 2016 season. Eight KTM X-BOW GT4s started at five events in the Competition102 GT4 European Series. 16 young drivers and 24 students from leading technical universities took part. These were impressive numbers for the new concept, which will continue in the 2017 season. Interested drivers, both male, and female, and also students should register their interest at: https://www.rys.racing/#rys2017!
