The 2017 IMS tour plans to stop in seven cities across the United States

SANTA MONICA, Calif., Nov. 15, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The Progressive® International Motorcycle Shows® (IMS), the motorsports industry's most powerful method for engaging qualified buyers, is geared up and ready to kick start the 2017 tour. The 2017 IMS tour will feature some of the top industry leading manufacturers such as BMW, BRP|Can-Am, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Indian, Kawasaki, Royal Enfield, Slingshot, Suzuki, Victory, and Yamaha. Attendees at the 2017 IMS tour will have the opportunity to engage with leading powersports brands, see new motorcycle models for the first time, and enjoy exciting new show attractions.
The 2017 Progressive® IMS tour begins in Long Beach, CA November 18-20.

Tracy Harris, Senior Vice President Powersports Group, UBM: "We expect the 36th annual Progressive® International Motorcycle Shows® to be one of our most innovative yet. We are excited to introduce new ideas into the 2017 tour, while continuing to provide the show that many of our legacy attendees and exhibitors expect. Our show has always been a gathering place, connecting top manufacturers with motorcycle riders, fans, and enthusiasts; while driving trends in the powersports industry."

The 2017 IMS tour is planned to be one of the most interactive yet with many new attractions for attendees to engage on the show floor. An FMX stunt show, temporary airbrush tattoos, live music, competitions and more will provide entertaining experiences for IMS attendees. One of the newest attractions on the 2017 tour is a mobile app and digital interface that will allow consumers to seamlessly interact with main show attractions and participating brands. The swipe of an event pass will allow attendees to win prizes, play games, join activities and share it all in real time socially; improving the attendee experience.

Other Key attractions include: an FMX Stunt Show by The Metal Mulisha Fitz Army; Inked Tattoo Parlor; IMS Vintage; the Progressive® Welcome Center; the Progressive® Stage; the Progressive® Parlor; Flo's Chop Shop; Flo's Coffee Grinder; The Studio; the Marketplace presented by Cycle Gear; J&P Cycles Ultimate Builder Custom Bike Show; Demo Rides (select cities), and the Kids Zone Presented by Allstate.

Scott Hall, Motorcycle Product Manager, Progressive Insurance: "Each year, our goal is to hit the road with a unique destination within the International Motorcycle Show, where we can connect with motorcycle enthusiasts and show them what Progressive is all about. Join us at the newly refreshed Progressive Parlor, where we'll kick off the tour by teaming up with Movember and bikers across the country to fuel awareness about "Throttle Therapy". During our first tour date, head to Flo's Chop Shop to get a fresh, clean shave or a beard trim and help us raise awareness for men's health."
