Cody #Webb Moves Up The Ladder

Factory Beta racer Cody Webb has moved up to 3rd place in the points after his podium finish at Round 4 of the Geico AMA Endurocross series. Webb started out the night with the fastest time in practice, followed by being 8th quickest in qualifying after a bobble. The California native then transferred directly into the main event from his heat race.

All of the regulars filled the main event gate on a course that was faster than previous tracks as lap times were in the 45 second range. Webb came around the first turn in 7th spot and one by one began to pick off riders, After trailing Kyle Redmond for a couple of laps, Webb made the pass just before the white flag to secure a solid 3rd place finish. Webb now sits 3rd in points, only 8 points behind KTM's Mike Brown.

"The Ontario race worked out very well. I put myself into podium contention at the start of the race, but was riding tight for the first few laps and slightly fell off the pace of the front runners. I eventually got into a groove and found some rhythm once again on my factory 350 RR. After settling in I capitalized on mistakes from the other riders and made a pass into third right before the white flag. I was very happy with my third place finish considering I was not completely pleased with how I was riding. I'm very excited to now be running third overall in the standings and am looking forward to continuing my " Webb explained.

Webb fought hard to make a last lap pass for the final podium spot

Webb's sponsors include Factory Beta Racing, Dunlop Tires, Kal Gard Lubricants, AXO, Gaerne, Troy Lee Designs, FMF, CV4, Rekluse, Works Connection, TU-Bliss, and DVS.

Beta 350RR is turning out to be another awesome Euro off-road bike.

There trials bikes have been just beautiful things, and now these trail bikes are becoming more cost-competitive with the Japanese and just great bikes. Beta is also using there own engines now, rather than the KTM units they used previously.

You can watch Cody Webb and others here at the X-Games Enduro final:

For Sale: Ninja 600 with parts bike, needs minor work, $30, no title... (GEE THAT DOESNT RING ANY WARNING BELLS DOES IT?)
