choke???!!!

#1 Unread post by NuRida »

can someone clear something up for me plz,

i was wondering about the concept of the choke. when the bike is "cold" , is it that it needs a more fuel rich mixture, and therefore the choke should be 'on' or not allow much air into the carbs?or when a bike is cold, does it need more oxygen to get its initial start going? and have the choke off to allow air in? thanks alot

When the bike is cold, having the choke on allows more fuel in the mixture, making it easier to start the bike and get it up to temperature.

yeah whenever the choke is on it cuts off the air so its richer and once it warms up turn off the choke so remember on=closed, off= open
Have a good time ALL the time
