I will be in Darwin next week, which I think is as close as I will ever get to the Alice.

Alice is well worth a look around. For me I moved here to LIVE just after a few days ride around!

Darwin is perfect in the Dry season!

Make sure you go to Litchfield National Park!

Litchfield is magic, but we did not spend anywhere near enough time there. I lived up in Darwin for a few years (ex-Army) and I am heading back up there for a holiday to catch up with my parents.

The territory definitely has that effect on people. Once you get a taste, it is hard to let go.

I have a somewhat bent '96 1200 Bandit.

I will be flying up with my family, that is if the doc on Wednesday does not tell me I need a bone graft for my leg.
