congrats on the jacket!

just wondering, how many riding gear have you collected by now?

me, the only one so far that i have an extra is gloves.

i don't count my 1pc as an xtra since it's totally for a diff purpose than my jacket and pants.

Hmmmm, lets go down the list:

3 helmets (2 for me, 1 for the ex I kept it after she broke up with me)
3 Jackets (2 for me, 1 for the ex I kept it after she broke up with me)
3 Pairs of gloves (2 for me, 1 for the ex I kept it after she broke up with me)
1 pair of chaps ("fudge" her)
1 pair of Icon Barrier Jeans (had broken up already)
1 pair steeltoed work boots (to be replaced at some point)
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

Boots have been through a crash, I trust them with my feet. Jeans are good for what they are, and I want to buy some icon strap on knee armor for some point.

My barrier jeans are essentially the same thing as your draggin jeans, but they have the kevlar/nylon weave throughout instead of just the knees and "O Ring". Plus they're water resistant and fleece lined for those cold Canadian rides.

Generally with the jacket I'm very happy with my gear at this point. Though the knee armor and some proper riding boots will be added. My biggest problem is that all the boots in my size are made for fat people. And I'm not fat! My calves are to skinny apparently.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

Us fat people would appreciate it if you stopped putting our boots on your smelly feet

 Nice jacket.

oh no, i wasn't saying to replace them bec of the quality.

i was just saying that they seem to be old and needed to be replaced based from your description.

i didn't have problems w/ my boots. i ordered the same size as what i order for regular shoes and it turned out fine. :D

LoL, nothing is more then 2 years old, and the jeans/boots are newer then that. The jacket was the oldest peice of gear I was wearing, and it has stood up well, just not what I want anymore. And the boots look almost brand new.

Nice cruiser :peep:

j/kj/k

I like the look of it. Honda's whole line is starting to grow on me (looks wise) and i think either a 599 or a CBR600F4i will be my second road bike at this point, as opposed to a FZR600R. Looks like a nice neighborhood, even has the only good kind of curbs too
