Nope. My Tiger is a shade of yellowish-green, and my jacket is a different shade of yellowish-green. Shades far enough apart to be different, but not far enough apart to complement each other.

Frankly, the effect is nauseating! Fortunately I don't have to look at myself.

Yes and no for me. I usually don't replace my gear till it needs replacing, which at the time, I'll (try) to match it better with the bike colour I have at the time. Then of course, the next bike is a different colour and it's mismatched again...lol.

Speaking of which, my Joe Rocket Ballistic (v1.0) jacket it a tad old (like 14 years!) so I've been looking at getting a new jacket. Also my helmet lining is falling apart and I need a new helmet (but can't find one that's "comfortable" and meets my safety standards).

In which case, my new gear should "match" my Guzzi. :D

Since I had my gear first, I chose the color of my motorcycle not to clash with the color of my gear.

Not intentionally. I've got a black and white bike. My previous bike was grey (hence my name  ), so pretty much any color sort of complements. My previous two helmets have been white, and I'm planning on getting white helmets from now on, so the matching is a happy coincidence. However, my jacket is irritatingly hi viz and doesn't go with anything.

Isn't your Guzzi black? Well, there you go, pretty much any gear color will fit.

Black bike, then a red bike and now a green bike....gear in basic traditional black.
Always ask why.

I replaced my jacket and helmet a couple years ago and have had my GS500 for 10 years and 100k miles now so why not match.

Black bike. Any gear works. I own a red joe rocket ballistic jacket, a yellow joe rocket atomic and a heavy leather jacket. My jeans are black sliders kevlar cargo pants....black wolverines. helmet is dark flat grey with black reflective lightning decals. Mix and match, whatever.
