Only temporarily slow. Once more people get their bikes insured it will pick up. Heck...we had more snow today...and it's darn cold....I'm thinking another couple of weeks before I put my bike on the road.

Insurance? Is that a seasonal thing? That would be more reason to be active, here...no ride. I don't do snow either. Fortunately, it don't snow all that much here. It does ice up every now and then. I'm in the south sound area, so we don't get the weather that is in the northern part of the state. Couple weeks ago, however, I was riding in what I thought was rain. Turned out to be sleet. Face shield iced up. That was annoying. For the most part, I ride all year round.

We (the other half and I) hit the road late in the summer for a few weeks. Just wonder around.

I had my bike insured until mid November. I'll get it insured in a couple of weeks.

I just got heated grips (as a gift) for my bike. If they work they way everyone claims they do, I may keep my bike on the road longer.

I think you'll like them. Most of the folks, I know, went with the heated gloves. I haven't done any of that. I did upgrade my battery, just in case. My current project is hooking an MP3 player to my sound system.

I have tried three different heated gloves on two bikes and they never worked..so I hope the grips will help to keep my hands warm. We tried them and they at least got toasty with the bike just sitting there at idle.

That's good to know. Please, let me know the difference. I've thought about heated grips, but ... it is the back of my hands that get cold - fingers and knuckles. Didn't want to invest the time and money, just to keep my palms warm.
