glad to be reading that.
oh, and i forgot to mention. in anticipation of this taking off (i have high hopes) i will update my original post with each new and completed challenge so you don't have to go searching through the thread to see if a new challenge has been done before.
also IMPORTANT: remember to always put the current challenge at the end of whatever post you're making so those reading know what it is without having to fish through the thread.
Next Challenge: Your bike at the lake
Current: 2006 Yamaha FZ6 (Faster Blue)
Previous: 1983 Honda GL650 Interstate (given back to previous owner)
That FZ6 looks soooo pretty, dean! Hmmm. Raining here now, all-day babysitting tomorrow. (I'm almost in enough of a funk to go out and do this in a cold rain. Almost.)

thank ya. and you're going to let a little bit of rain stop you.
technically i should be making a new challenge at this point. it's past 48 hours. but because so many of you seem to be in the frozen north, we'll extend these early challenges a few days past the 48 hours to try and get this up and running. otherwise it looks like it's just john and myself.
side note, the last challenge on the fz6 forum was to get someone in an easter bunny costume posing with your bike. one of the guys got a bunny on his bike. very nice picture.
Your bike with your town's welcome sign.

It stopped raining, Dean! Besides, I don't mind buckets of rain, if it's warmer. Ask LionLady. It's the cold rain that I prefer to avoid. Dang, now I gotta come up with one.

nicely done. and i'm with you... i don't mind being cold. and i don't mind being wet. but cold and wet is something i just can't do.

that's always the tricky part. the fun part is getting out there and having an excuse to ride. then you realize... "dang it, now i have to come up with something."
next challenge:
MZ33 wrote:Okay: a coffee shop that is at least 20 miles from your house. (Honor system, of course.)
ewww, making us ride a little bit. i like it.

Just find another one a little farther away, and you'll be golden! I have to take the Versys about 60 miles for service tomorrow--hopefully there is a coffee shop along the way and I remember to take a camera.
