1. If there were no financial limitations.
and
2. Realistically.
I am in the market for a new seat for my intruder, but I would like to know what you guys think are the best and why.

I still have the stock seat on my X, but if I was changing seats I'd get a Mustang Wide Vintage. I've sat on a friend's Mustang and it was very comfortable.

I believe for the best overall ride you cannot beat a Mustang Seat. I received my seat from Discountcycleparts.com. I think they have the best prices and best service out all the people I have ordered with.

I had a Corbin on my NightHawk 700SC, and I currently have a Mustang on my Mean Streak. They are both high-quality pieces and they both transformed their respective bikes.

I have a Corbin Gunfighter on my Intruder and it is extremely comfortable & I wouldn't trade it for anything .
Kind regards, Wizzard

I know that I need a new, more comfy seat. You'd think that my own extra cushy rear would suffice, but it doesn't. After about two solid hours of riding, I become very uncomfortable - even starts to burn. I used to have a Mustang seat on my Shadow - that's probably what I'll opt for in the future for my Meanie. They make some nice saddles.

Cheers,
Loonette

Loonette,

The Meanie's stock seat looks better than most...but I agree, it's no good for rides >1 hour or so. Mine currently resides in my closet.
