NOT TO DO with a passanger

#1 Unread post by luis_alberto » Thu Jan 15, 2009 5:12 pm

Seriously,

I love riding my cruiser with my girlfriend. I enjoy taking her with me as much as I enjoy riding by myself.

But the dude from this video sure gave a lesson in: "how to lose your girlfriend in 3 seconds"

What a frickin' idiot! The poor girl probably had no idea she was riding with such a squid!

Ok, the video is 4 years old, but stupid behavior that probably scarred that girl for life, is timeless!

Yeah, I've seen the clip before, but every time it pisses me off to no end!!!

I don't know... I just don't see anything funny about this video. Maybe we'd all see it that way if they kept the video going a few more second and you saw the skin being scraped from her body and the blood dancing on the pavement as a beautiful woman was transformed in to a scarred for life, filled with pain from broken bones and an injured back.

If I was her father I'd probably kill the brat that was riding the bike.

I don't see anything funny about this vid either, but to imply the poor judgment lies solely with the operator of the bike is wrong IMHO. Sometimes I wonder where these passengers lose their common sense - this was obviously a planned wheelie (hence the videographer)....and yet she thought this would be a smart thing to do? DUH!!!

I just don't get it. Not at all. :frusty:

You are absolutely correct. But there are many times when we trust the person to perform well that places our selves at risk - that the fault lies largely with the person expressing the confidence that x can be done safely.

The fault of the girl appears to be... trusting in the capabilities of the rider.

I remember reading the follow up to this. If I recall correctly, the girl was happy to be getting new b00bies and what not. one whole side of her body was road rash hamburg. anyone have the link to that story. I canna find it.

The only blame I would put on the GF would be for not wearing a jacket. If you've ever had road rash you know they are worth every penny and then some.

I have seen some really stupid things and unfortunately they often have passengers with them. As a father of two girls things like that really scare me.

I dont see any thing wrong here, just a good example of Darwins theory in practice.

Nah, only if the guy bought it off video a few seconds later. There are few enough hot girls around for some jackass to do that to a girl.

Of course, if trusting the wrong person is a Darwinable offense then you are correct. Her chances of reproducing after such a major road rash incident are probably a lot lower than they would have been.
