 :frusty: :roll2: :dunno: :wowsign:

just thought i'd do something useful with my time.

btw, i'm 31, now ride an fz6 and agree completely.... with all the old, social security collecting folks like storysunfolding.

i'd really like to type more. not to start a fight but to truly try and help. but at this point you've shown that you don't want to learn anything. i'm not even sure you want to find justification for getting your bike. you just want to be a troll. which is very sad. there is a wealth of information here that you could be learning from. you have riders that 10's of thousands of miles under their belts, as well as motorcycle instructors, that have valuable info to share. and rather than showing wisdom and learning from those who have experience, you've chosen to be a troll.

if you get a bike, i do truly hope you're safe. don't take this wrong, but i hope you show more wisdom riding your bike than you have in learning from those that have gone before you. because if you don't, your future doesn't look very bright for you.

again, good luck, stay safe and be wise.

Funny, they helped me just fine, and btw bud, I'm 22, starting a new job Tuesday, and don't collect on Social Security.
Ya know, people that don't listen are why I loved bouncing, got to take out my built up aggressions on them.

What a flippin' dumb arse.....sigh....

Jr, you haven't even begun to pay back those that have supported you indirectly. Its their taxes that paid for your free education, the fresh water you drank, the roads you drive on and all the other goodies you've taken for granted.

I'm 49, been paying income taxes since I was 16, served in my nations Armed Forces and still have a minimum of 16 years till I can collect from the Canadian Pension Plan and odds are I will still be working even when I am 70 and contributing to the raising the next generations of know it all young bucks with more balls then brains, ie punks like you.

Get that 1000CC or 600CC crotch rocket and wrap yourself around a tree or smack into a rock face when you over cook a corner, I wont cry for you or even give a flying fvck.

But you'll still be paying for the emergency services, road repair and all the other people that take care of such events

Nope, him be 'Merican, me be Canadian......when he rides into a rock face or a tree, you Yanks can carry the cost. But look at it this way, it would be a small price to pay if it cleans out the US gene pool a little right?

we'd need many many many more R1's to make that happen. Then you Canadian's would get upset at our deforestation rate and the effect on your great northern clean air.

WHERE?!

And I can't wait until I get to collect on all that social security. I'm friggin' 20 years old. Not quite fogey material.

We need shane-o on this.

There are some fairly beautiful forests in Minnesota. In fact I would have to say the northern half of Minnesota is forrest (and lakes), hence it being called the "Big Woods".

As for being a poser, I guess I'm a poser because I like old bikes that aren't "cool" to someone like you and your friends. And tell you stuff that an involved parent would say. Doing something stupid because I'm afraid people are going to ridicule me if I don't "man up" and "go big", I don't know anything about that. So I guess that makes me a poser.

Never mind the fact that I've worked for everything I have and have no debt (other than a mortgage). I am a homeowner, have a newer truck, and a bike. I've been able to start my own company and don't have to answer to anyone. But that must make me a poser.

So if I'm a poser, well I guess that's a good thing. I don't have to work at some fast food place flipping burgers part time, living with my parents, needing them to pay for all my stuff, causing trouble rather than getting an education. That's so much cooler.
