Too right it's a shame that bike was never developed to it's ultimate potential. Light, strong, unitized chassis/engine combo... mongo power on tap..... who wouldn't want a 300-ish lb bike with as much jam as the latest liter bikes and V-twin torque...... :drool:

Well, maybe not everyone, but I sure as hell would. And I know a few others around here that would too. :twisted:

When I posted my comment about aussie bikes I only had the "Drysdale" in mind.


I watched a doco on the Britten a short while ago, awesome bikes, and he is a pretty cluey guy, hard to imagine such quality could come from a Kiwi, usually they are to preoccupied with all the good looking sheep to be bothered being inventive :)

BTW if I had the bill$, I would ride a harly. It would not be a sporter either.

if you can afford it, buy a harley because it is a well made bike, not just because it's american. this kind of thinking will ensure we buy our own products becasue of quality, then the pride will come nauturall. savvy?

As soon as they work out those weight, noise, and vibration issues and get ride of the chrome, I'll think about it.

Except in the case of the V-Rod, that is one great machine.
