I don't remember if it was on TMW but I think someone else posted this. Its beautiful. The custom look is awesome. Its looks like it has nothing to do with Honda. Its funny because it seems as Honda is taking a bit of a chance on the way some of their moto's look. Take for instance the 2008 cbr1000rr. You either love it or hate it.

In spite of the passing of Mr. Honda I think Honda Corporate indeed knows what they are doing introducing that bike. With the economy in the toilet at the moment, even as the "chopper" craze is winding down if it is priced right it will sell ($9599 to $12499 max) . Then if it is successful you might see bigger versions, maybe. They damned better clean up the welds on the exposed chassis, hopefully the ones they showed at the IBS were pre prototypes rushed out the door and not for sale.

Honda appears to have some stagnation in their line and some holes so I hope they fix that too.

just read the article in the cycle world mag. it struck me as awesome at first - then really awesome when i saw the price - then i started thinkin it could really use a "clean up" under the seat. let the engine "hover" a bit. :P
the back looks a little thin too without the big tire. but the economical aspect is appealing.
itd be a decent bike to further customize with that head start :D
Life is beautiful man !

I would rather see Honda bring the Varadero and Africa twin to North America. Or even better the hydrogen powered postie bike. Leave that custom crap to Borget and OCC.

Was at a honda dealer to look at some leathers I want . Rode in on my buell. Dealer saw me looking at the Fury (nice looking) and he said to me how about we take you off that Buell and put you on this new Fury. I sad how about a test ride, He said no. I went to sit on it , he said don't . So I told him he would never sell it the way he is trying to and told him where he can put that Fury and the leathers I was going to buy. I am sure not all Honda dealers are like this .

You're right....not all dealers are like that. There are a few dealers here won't allow test rides....but to not even be able to sit on it? That dealer is nuts if he thinks someone will buy without a try.

The bike is getting very good reviews from mags like Cycle World. It's supposed to be surprisingly comfortable and easy to ride. Looks like a Big Dog but rides like a Honda.
