Custom lowering: replaces factory shocks with a solid strut

This bike was converted to a hardtail and i was wondering how hard would it be to try and convert back to a softail?

1) Remove stupid painful struts.

2) Reinstall stock springs.

3) Live and ride free brother.

Pretty easy to do like they said, but one thing you're gonna want to do is make sure your chain slack is right after you reinstall the shocks. Chances are they had the chain pretty tight because it didn't need to move with the swingarm.

Otherwise the procedure would be.
1. Use motorcycle jack to lift frame enough to lift rear wheel from ground.
2. Loosen chain a little.
3. Unbolt hardtail struts.
4. Bolt on stock (or whatever length you want to) struts.
5. Lower back to ground.
6. Adjust chain slack.
7. Ride off into sunset.
