My bike's name is Oz. . .because when I'm on him (yes it's a him to me) and riding I feel like I'm traveling on the "Yellow Brick Road" to a land far, far away. . .with no worries. . . .

Mine is Ms. Bee - obvious reasons....
My hubby's is Patricia (the Strippa). He's got a red M109 and Lady in Red was a little too clean for a bike, so he went for a different Chris deBurgh song. :D

My BMW R1100RT is the "Mothership" as it can carry everything one would ever need on a trip.

My new K1200S is called "Mother Rocketship" if you have ridden one you would understand.

I have a Yamaha V-Star 1100 Classic, red-on-black. I just bought it a week ago while on Christmas break from work. Before I left work, I posted a color picture of a pretty red V-Star Classic up on my workbench, and wrote in big red letters, "Santa Baby..." (from the song.) Now, when I go back to work, I'll have that Christmas wish fulfilled!

I have been trying to think of a name, this is my first bike. Maybe Pegasus, after the mythical winged horse. He/she (can't decide yet) has Mustang seats and they have a little Pegasus figure stamped into the back of the seat-back. Pegasus was also my favorite mythical character when I was a child.

On the other hand, my BF suggested "Sweet Christmas" since it has, indeed, been a sweet Christmas, and she is red, after all.

Any ideas?

Names of my other vehicles:

Mercury Villager van - Wolfey (the namesake)
Ford Focus sedan - Zippy (cuz she is)

Naming my bike now!

#58 Unread post by N2ition2000 »

Never thought about it before because I am like previous poster and always called my Honda Shadow 750 "baby" but you ladies gave me an idea! I am naming him Cezar because my new bike license plate reads CZDADAY
(seize the day!) lol

My m/c friends all call me Kitty (as in Hello Kitty... long story), which I find highly amusing, so I've decided to get personalized plates for the bikes: 1KTTY for the red Daytona & 2KTTY for the blue Sprint. Which is very Dr. Suess... 1 Kitty, 2 Kitty, Red Kitty, Blue Kitty...

Point being... I suspect my bikes are about to be named Red Kitty and Blue Kitty. (Right now I just call them my Lil Red Bike and Big Blue Bike.)

SV doesn't get a name or gender. I don't want to be attached to that bike so I won't care when I crash it on the track.
