Hello,
New guy here! I don't understand how to "recalibrate" a bike with fuel injection. When I bought the bike my nieghbor asked if I wanted to get new intake and exhaust...Yes, I replied...Then he went on to tell me I have to get the bike rejetted...On cars you only rejet carberators...How do I rejet/configure my bike if I decide to get exhaust and intake?

on a fuel injected bike you get a fuel mapper (kinda like putting a chip in a car) cobra makes a decent one that's reasonably priced. it changes the parameters in your ecu to accomodate the pipes and intake

Buy a powercommander, take it to a shop with a dyno and exhaust gas analyzer. Have them tune it for you using the powercommander.

It's basically a device that plugs inline with the ecu and injectors in order to modify the fuel map.
