I wasn't sure what options to put as there could be dozens of them, any ideas? Or is it better to just post what makes motorcycles so fascinating to you?

Mike

What is fascinating to me is the fact that riding is a "sensual" experience (I know, the wordings wrong, but I can't think of a better word off the top of my head).

I feel as though I'm part of the machine, moreso than in a car.

I dress like a power ranger

It feels like I'm in a fighter plane's cockpit

The neighborhood kids think I'm a mix of spiderman (gear colors) or batman (cool toys). They even argue about which one I am!

No, no - your wording is dead on. I agree with that sentiment entirely.

Motorcycles have a strong physiological effect on me. Ever since I was a kid, just the sight or sound of a motorcycle would get my heart racing. I have no doubt that my pupils probably dilate as well. I would (and still do) stop whatever else I was doing just to focus on a motorcycle passing by.

Not wanting to sound too cliché, but it's also the freedom I feel while I'm on my bike. It's a sort of sanctuary as well. Even though I'm out in the world, I'm also in my own little world.

Cheers,
Loonette

one of the many things i love about riding, and it's impossible to translate to anyone who hasn't, is when i'm bombing around near sundown in the country and every now and then in a valley you catch these little drafts and the air temp drops several degrees, enough to raise the hair on the back of your neck a bit. you never notice that in a cage, you don't feel that, well, alive is the best term i have for it. it's all the little things you miss when you're in a cage, the smell of someone starting a grill, or a campfire, and just as soon as you've caught a whiff, you're gone and on to the next adventure.
