The F.C.C. TSR Honda France team will line up third on the grid for the second round of the 2026 FIM Endurance World Championship (EWC), the 8 Hours of Spa Motos, held at the iconic Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps.

Under challenging and highly unpredictable weather conditions, the Honda-powered squad secured third place overall aboard the Honda CBR1000RR‑R Fireblade SP, setting themselves up for a strong position ahead of Saturday’s race, aiming to repeat last year’s victory at Spa.

Friday’s schedule featured free practice and two qualifying sessions on the demanding 6.985 km Belgian circuit. In mixed wet and cold conditions during free practice, the Honda #5 recorded the fifth fastest lap time with a 2:36.289.

The first qualifying session took place in dry and sunny conditions. Alan Techer opened the session with a 2:20.817, opting to save his qualifying tyres for the second session. Corentin Perolari followed with a strong 2:19.088, placing him second in the yellow group. John McPhee also impressed with a 2:19.692, securing also second position in the red-armand riders in the final moments.

Rain arrived again during the second qualifying session, and Techer did not rejoin the track. Both Perolari and McPhee completed their sessions but were unable to improve on their earlier times due to the changing weather conditions.

Based on the combined average of the two fastest laps from both sessions, F.C.C. TSR Honda France will start from third position on the grid, with an average lap time of 2:19.390, earning 3 valuable championship points ahead of the eight-hour race.

Tati Team AVA6 Racing completed qualifying in eighth place on the grid aboard their Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP thanks to a 2:20.786 qualifying average from Hugo Clère, Mike Di Meglio and Isaac Viñales.

In the Superstock category, TRT27 AZ Moto secured pole position in their category with the squad Thomas Ward, Thomas Oliver, and Eemeli Lahti aboard the CBR1000RR‑R Fireblade SP. A well-timed run at the start of the second qualifying, just before the rain intensified, proved decisive in securing the top spot in class. The result places the Honda #27 in an excellent position heading into tomorrow’s race, with the team focused on fighting for victory while maximising valuable championship points.

The 8 Hours of Spa Motos will start at 13:00 (CEST) on Saturday, June 6, and finish at 21:00 (CEST).
