My last bike, a 1978 Suzuki GS550.
I restored it from the ground up, sadly this is the best the bike ever looked as after I sold it the next owner let it go off quickly.

Mine looked better than yours did when you got it, hopefully I can bring it up to the good look you got after restoring it. Though I have to say I like my rims better than yours.totalmotorcycle wrote:My last bike, a 1978 Suzuki GS550.

Here's a picture of my GS and my SV the day I bought the SV.
I rode the GS for a while until the damage the previous owner did finally took hold. Sold it to my girlfriend's cousin and he spent a lot of money getting it tip-top again.
Then I got in an accident. I broke my collarbone and was out of commission for 2 months....Still waiting to get back on my feet again to fix her all up nice-like.

How would you compare the SV to the GS? Alot more power or just a little? Hows the seating positions compare? (I sat on an sv a few years ago but I don't remember how it felt.) I have thought about an sv 650 for a next bike, but I want something with considerably more power then the GS has.
