Where's the category for "everything"?

I'd say power but my 750 is scary enough as is. I'd like it to lose some weight, improve reliability, have much stronger brakes, and be quieter than the Kerker 4-1 makes it.

The 250 could definitely use 100% more horsepower seeing as it has 20hp to haul around roughly 470lbs with me on it. It could also use the frame to be stretched about 2-3" longer to move the seat back from the handlebars and foot pegs, but otherwise it's great.

Got to say this, but I'd like to improve the brakes. I've had a definite brake fade since those early very sharp days when there was less than 1000 on the odo - not much, but noticeable.

I picked gas mileage, but what I really want is more range. Gas mileage is one way to that, but I fear it would compromise perforamance. Really, I just want a bigger gas tank.

That being said, the mods I actually plan to do are purely cosmetic. Got a nice 4-into-1 on there with a Corbin seat, going to lower bars, polished master cylinders, VTX headlight, Ace 750 switch boxes, Kuryakyn grips and pegs, etc etc.

Oooh... if I had to select one thing, I guess it'd be widening my rear wheel to accept a 200 series tire.

Charles.

I put wind shielding, mine is actually too good. That ol 4 cyl boxer with fairing and lowers really bakes your feet when the weather is warm. I think I need to install some wind wings if I could find some that would fit.

I voted suspension. For a sportbike, mine is really too soft. The rear is adjustable though, so I can play with that. I hope to eventually install some progressive springs and heavier oil in the forks.

I love everything about my bike, but I wouldn't mind two things. First, and what I voted for, was touring ability. I can tour on my bike, but I wish they had an option that didn't take away what the bike is, while making it more tour friendly. Next is fuel range, but that is a touring thing too, I guess.

This is my situation, too. I've pretty much taken care of everything that makes my bike more like yours (including the faring), except horsepower. I can't afford to do that, so I said gas mileage, but I really just want range, not at the cost of performance (sound familiar?) . I think I'm just jealous of vulcanman500 getting 55 mpg when I get 45. :frusty:
