Hey guys, my friend (Ikeadan69) has a huge ranch.... 600+ acres.... and we decided that its time to build a track because we are getting tired of tearing around all over the place and we want some real jumps and berms... We have a small tractor with a thing on the back to push dirt around, but no front loader.

Any ideas on how to go about starting a simple track?

Pick natural terrain on a hillside or embankment, clear the big rocks and go for it. When I was a kid, there was an abandoned gravel pit a mile behind my farm where they had cut into an old embankment. They left behind many natural jumps and berms that were perfect for my little track. I only cleared enough of the big raock away to make a single track, but I created one mean mother of a track. I had friends who were intimidated to even go around it. The ones who would, had a blast and we mostly just timed each other. Man I wish I still had access to that.....and a bike suited for it....
